Michael Hussey "To this day, it's one of the best feelings I've ever had, playing the game to help Australia get through to that final. Pakistan had probably outplayed us for most of that game and got themselves in a position to win.
"When I came out to bat, there wasn't a lot of batting left to come. There was Steve Smith but we were into the bowlers. We needed plenty of runs and it was about getting as close as we could. With 3 overs to go, we needed around 50 and I had pretty much given up hope, it was just a case of swing and see how we go.
"I thought Mohammad Amir bowled a very good penultimate over. There was a big boundary on the leg side and hitting in the wind so it was hard to get him away for fours and sixes.
"Coming into that last over against Ajmal, someone who I had so much respect for, he got me out so many times through my career and I had a lot of trouble facing him.
"The only thing in our favour was the short leg-side boundary and a strong wind pushing the ball that way. We needed 18 off the last over. I thought if we could get a few up into the breeze, maybe they could travel for six and we could get close to winning the game.
"Probably a few more than I would've liked to chase in the last over. It was an amazing feeling. We didn't get too much time to celebrate if unfortunately, we had to get on the plane and make it over to Barbados to prepare for the final against England.
"I'll never forget that amazing game for the rest of my life. Let's hope everyone stays healthy and safe and we can get back to normalcy soon and get back to doing what we love most, playing, enjoying, and watching cricket."
