I found it a bit odd that the ACC president gives a press conference and ends up indicating that Pakistan is unsafe to travel to for cricket even though Pakistan has hosted NZ, Eng, Aus and SA during the recent years. Yet, the ACC president, whose job is to look after the growth of the game in the region is giving out statements that sabotage the interest and growth of the game in one of its member country.

It is well known that Jay Shah is the son of Amit Shah who is a member of the BJP. Jay Shah's immature act indicates that he is bringing his country's party politics into cricket aswell. He has failed to act as a proper president that would look and take care of the interests of all members of the organization.

Shahid Afridi has also responded to his press release.

The PCB should provide details of the security assessment that was undertaken by the ACC that justifies this statement.

I think this is the last Asia cup we will have for a while. The BCCI has tried it's best to sabotage this tournament and it hasn't been enjoyable.

But what can we do? "Boycotting events" will do us more harm than good.
The way BCCI is acting is giving a real life example of why monoplies are bad. One country generating approximately 90% of ICC events revenue can never be good for the game.

Mark my words, in the near future, BCCI will have a big fight with Australia and England as well. And India would run cricket just like America is running American football. That would be the end of country vs country that cricket is known for

If there is a security assessment and it is deem satisfactory, PCB should take ACC to court for it than. This is going to be problematic for us in future, if we allow a biased ACC president to create a false image of Pakistan.

PCB got no self-respect, Bcci been using them for a while now and nothing can be done about this whole fiasco. Time to take a stand and back it up till the end.

Need patriots to earn that respect, currently Pakistan has no patriots working for Pakistan in any institution of Pakistan.

Isn't India the same country where multiple states have said they can not guarantee safety of certain teams during certain matches which have led to several rescheduling events?
