Should there be a rule in PSL that national captain will captain whichever franchise selects him?

Seeing some pretty poor captains and captaincy on display by some and national coach is coaching a PSL side which PCB said will give him experience which I dont have any problem with but then what about the national captain?

So should there be a rule that national T20 and ODI captain or captains need to be given captaincy in whichever franchise they are drafted in?

Babar Azam is a world class player and I am pretty sure any franchise would love to have him even if the rule is for him to be the captain.

Its really surprising that national captain doesnt captain in the premier white ball tournament of the country. In my opinion PCB needs to make a rule so that this doesnt happen again.

Really? I havent read anything like that. If its true its pretty surprising as Babar could have learnt a lot.

I don’t think we have ever seen a national T20 captain not lead a domestic franchise. In the IPL, BBL, CPL, BPL etc., the national T20 captain is also a captain in the T20 league.

The fact that Babar is not captaining any of the 6 franchises is beyond ridiculous.

PCB keeps finding new and creative ways of embarrassing itself.

Exactly. Even Azhar Ali was captaining LQ in PSL 2016 when he was Pak national captain.

Yes it should be but it wasnt for KK management which made sure to retain Babar by demoting Imad to diamond category only to give captaincy to Imad.

If Karachi keep performing as they have been performing up until now Imad will be sacked anyway.

It's just common sense that a national captain will captain in domestic cricket. If I'm honest I would like to see Babar move to Lahore and be made captain. He will help them as a player and he will get captaincy experience. If KK are going to make him captain he can stay, but it will be a bit awkward if Imad after being captain for a couple of years is playing under Babar captaincy.
