In Pakistan you cannot dare to say anything in public against the establishment, PDM parties, their leaders, family members or their protected people in the Judiciary, police, media without your home being broken into at night and the women of your house being harrassed, disrespected and your properties, bank accounts siezed. The regime has gone the extra mile to target the family members and loved one of foreign Pakistani's living in Pakistan to shut them up and to stop their lobby efforts. This is the order and reality of Pakistan today and the events of Nov 2024 i.e. the massacre in Islamabad sent out another message that the regime will go to any extent possible to silence people and they will get away with it because they have the blessings of the major outside powers.

Similarly in India, if you want to live in peace, security, tension free life in India, you better be anti Muslim, anti Pakistani and pro-Modi and you better toe the line in the media to the likes of Arnab Goswami.

Freedom of Speech has declined under the Modi regime, there's no doubt about that.

There's still plenty of independent reporting but the autocrat PM has a solid record of sending income tax raids into newspaper offices that he doesn't like. Also the judges have become much less liberal than the during the days of when Congress was in power.

Welcome to our world. You chose religion over freedom.

You could've learned from us. And not committed suicide.

But decided otherwise and made us your role model. Pity you. Not.
