Udaipur IT Manager Gang Rape: 'Injuries On Private Parts, Jewellery Missing' - What Survivor Told Police

A woman IT firm manager in Rajasthan's Udaipur was gang-raped in a car by her company's CEO, a senior woman executive and the executive's husband after a birthday party. The three have been arrested.

The alleged gang rape of a woman working as an IT firm manager in Rajasthan's Udaipur has revealed disturbing details, according to her police complaint and medical records.
The incident occurred on December 20, when the survivor had joined the accused - three senior colleagues, including the CEO of the company - for a late-night office gathering.

The three accused - identified as CEO Jitesh Prakash Sisodia, Shilpa Sirohi, the company's woman executive head, and her husband Gaurav Sirohi - have been arrested.

The survivor told police that Jitesh, Shilpa and Gaurav "took turns" to rape her while she was in the car.

A medical examination later confirmed rape and documented injuries. The report noted that the survivor suffered pain and injuries on her private parts as well as on other areas of her body, which prima facie confirm rape, according to police.
She also reported some of her jewellery, socks and undergarments as missing after the incident.
The survivor had attended Sisodia's birthday party at a hotel in Udaipur's Shobagpura area on December 20.
The gathering began around 9 pm and continued until about 1.30 am, during which alcohol was consumed by those present.
When her health reportedly worsened at the end of the party, Jitesh Sisodia, Shilpa Sirohi and Gaurav Sirohi offered to drop her home.
As per reports, Gaurav was driving the car, while Shilpa, the CEO and the survivor were seated in the back.
During the journey, the car was allegedly stopped at a shop where the accused bought a substance resembling cigarettes and gave it to the manager. She claimed she became unconscious after consuming it.
The survivor told police that after regaining consciousness, she noticed injuries on her body and later checked the car's dashcam. The device, she said, had recorded the crime as well as a conversation between the accused.
Armed with the dashcam footage and her medical report, the woman approached the police and filed a complaint on December 23.
Based on her statement and the medical evidence, police arrested Sisodia, Shilpa and Gaurav.
Officials said the accused were produced before a court and remanded to four days of custody, while a detailed investigation into the case remains underway.

The incident took place on Saturday, when the two accused took the victim Narottam’s residence, forced her to consume alcohol and then raped her, police said.

Two men, including a private bank employee, have been arrested for the gang rape of a 13-year-old girl near Samaypur Badli in outer Delhi, police said on Thursday.
Police identified the suspects as Narottam alias Neta,28, who runs a barber shop near his house in Raja Vihar and is known to the girl and her family, and Rishabh Jha, 26, who works in a private bank and lives with his family in Badli jhuggi-jhopri (JJ) camp.

Based on the girl’s detailed statement and her medical examination report, the two were booked under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) section 70 (gang-rape) and section 6 (aggravated penetrative sexual assault) of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act on Sunday, the police said. They were arrested the same day, said deputy commissioner of police (outer-north) Hareshwar Swami.

The incident took place on Saturday, when the two accused took the victim Narottam’s residence, forced her to consume alcohol and then raped her, police said.

Later, the victim’s family called the police and informed them that she had been coerced into drinking alcohol. A subsequent statement by the family members and investigation revealed that she had also been assaulted.

Given the gravity of the crime, a special investigation team (SIT), under the supervision of the DCP, has “directed to complete the investigation and file chargesheet as soon as possible. The case is currently under further investigation to ensure a strong legal trial,” Delhi Police said in a statement.

In another case, an 18-year-old woman filed a case at the Sultanpuri police station on Monday accusing a 21-year-old man of raping her several times over the past three years after promising to marry her.

The main accused, CEO, had hosted a birthday party last Saturday. The woman manager, who works in the same company, was among those invited.

What began as a casual invitation to a co-worker’s birthday party turned into a nightmare for a woman in Rajasthan. Three people, including the CEO of a private IT company, have been arrested for the alleged gangrape of a manager following the party in Udaipur, police said on Friday.

According to police, the main accused, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the same company, had hosted a birthday party last Saturday. The woman manager, who works in the firm, was among those invited to the gathering.

As the party wound down, other guests gradually left, leaving the woman alone, police said, citing her complaint.

‘Offered lift, then incapacitated’

In her statement to the police, the woman said that the company’s female executive head then offered to drop her home. She got into the car, in which the CEO and the executive head’s husband, who is a resident of Meerut, were also present.
Police said that during the drive, the accused allegedly stopped at a shop and bought something resembling cigarettes, which was offered to the woman, PTI news agency reported. However, an earlier report in HT said that the accused purchased liquor and forcibly made her consume alcohol.

The woman alleged that she lost consciousness after consuming the substance. In her complaint, the woman said she regained consciousness while she was being sexually assaulted inside the moving vehicle. She alleged that all three accused were involved despite her attempts to resist.

She further stated that she was allegedly kept inside the car until the early hours of the morning and was later dropped at her residence. The woman said she experienced severe pain and weakness, following which she underwent a medical examination at a private hospital. According to her complaint, the medical report confirmed sexual assault, after which she approached the police.

Based on her statement, a case was registered at Sukher police station under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

CEO among 3 arrested

All three accused — CEO, the female executive head, and her husband — were arrested on Thursday after questioning and produced before a court.
“The accused were arrested following the registration of a case at Sukher police station under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. They were produced before a court on Thursday and sent on four-day police remand,” Udaipur Superintendent of Police Yogesh Goyal said.

Police said the woman’s medical examination has been conducted and her statements have been recorded. The investigation has now been handed over to Additional Superintendent of Police Madhuri Verma. Further investigation into the case is ongoing, police added.

Unnao Rape: How CBI Plans to Tighten Noose Around Accused Kuldeep Sengar After Delhi HC Grants Conditional Bail

The CBI has filed a Special Leave Petition (SLP) with the Supreme Court challenging the Delhi High Court's decision to suspend the life sentence and grant bail to former BJP MLA KS Sengar, convicted for the Unnao rape case.

New Delhi: After nationwide outrage, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Friday filed a Special Leave Petition (SLP) before the Supreme Court against the orders of Delhi High Court which suspended the sentence and granted bail to accused former BJP MLA KS Sengar in Unnao Rape case, officials said.
Sources said a Delhi court convicted KS Sengar for life imprisonment with a fine of Rs 25 Lakhs in Dec 2019. "He filed an appeal against the conviction before the Delhi HC in Jan 2020 and a petition for suspension of sentence in Mar 2022 before the Delhi HC," said sources.

"This petition was vehemently opposed by CBI and the victim through their counsel. The Delhi HC on December 23, 2025 suspended the sentence pending disposal of the appeal and granted bail to the accused with certain conditions. However the accused will remain in jail as he is also convicted for 10 years imprisonment in another CBI case for murder," said sources.

CBI after studying the Delhi HC order has filed a SLP before the Supreme Court on December 26, 2025.

Earlier too, the accused had filed appeal and bail petition that was vehemently opposed by CBI as well as the family of the victim before the Delhi HC.
CBI has filed timely replies and written arguments in this matter. The family of the victim has also opposed the petition citing safety and threats.

Rahul Gandhi Targets Govt Over

Taking to X, Rahul Gandhi targeted the government and raised several questions saying, "Is such treatment of a gang rape survivor appropriate? Is her "fault" that she has the courage to raise her voice for justice?"
The fact that her perpetrator (former BJP MLA) has been granted bail is extremely disappointing and shameful, especially when the survivor is being repeatedly harassed, and is living under the shadow of fear, Rahul Gandhi said.

"Bail for rapists, and treating survivors like criminals - what kind of justice is this? We are not just becoming a dead economy with such inhuman incidents, we are also turning into a dead society," the Congress leader said.
"In a democracy, raising a voice of dissent is a right, and suppressing it is a crime. The survivor deserves respect, safety, and justice not helplessness, fear, and injustice," he added.
On Friday, the Unnao victim, her mother and others protested outside the Delhi High Court.

HC upholds man's conviction for stepdaughter's rape, says victim turning hostile can't dismiss case

HC upholds man's conviction for stepdaughter's rape, says victim turning hostile can't dismiss case

New Delhi, The Delhi High Court has upheld the 20-year jail term of a man for raping his minor stepdaughter, observing that guilt under the POCSO Act cannot be dismissed merely because the victim turned hostile, particularly when scientific evidence was available.

The high court said it considered it apposite to take notice of the plight of such victims, who are defenceless against pressure from their family members and are susceptible to influence.

Nothing can justify a child being faced with the burden of shielding their perpetrator, it said.

It noted that the victim may have retracted from her testimony due to fear of losing shelter, financial stability and the desire to preserve the family unit, especially when the accused is a caregiver or breadwinner.

"A child who is confronted with the prospect of condemning someone who provides her shelter and financial stability is undoubtedly faced with a grave conflict.

"The child's instinct for survival coupled with the fear of ostracisation and the desire to preserve the family unit may compel the victim to retract from the truth. In the present case as well, the subsequent hostility of the victim can be traced from her statement under Section 164 of the CrPC itself," Justice Amit Mahajan said.

The court dismissed the man's appeal challenging his conviction and 20-year jail term under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act.

The victim girl, who was less than 12-year-old at the time of the incident in March 2016, alleged that she was sexually assaulted by her stepfather while she was sleeping at midnight. Later she informed her mother about the incident and a complaint was lodged.

However, during the trial, the victim, her mother and sister retracted their statements.

The man claimed that the sole eyewitness to the alleged incident, that is, the victim herself has not supported the prosecution's case.

The high court, however, said that the subsequent hostility of a child victim cannot be viewed in isolation, particularly in cases involving scientific evidence.

SC quashes conviction in rape case, says it had 'sixth sense' that parties can be brought together

SC quashes conviction in rape case, says it had 'sixth sense' that parties can be brought together

New Delhi, The Supreme Court has quashed the conviction of a man in a rape case, noting the complainant and the convict have married each other and observed that the consensual relationship between the parties was given a criminal colour owing to a misunderstanding.

A bench of Justices B V Nagarathna and Satish Chandra Sharma said that when the matter came up before the top court, after considering the facts of the case, "we had a sixth sense that the appellant and the respondent prosecutrix could be brought together once again if they decided to marry each other".

It noted the parties had married each other in July this year and had been residing together since then.

"This is one of those rare cases where, on the intervention of this court, the appellant herein, who had applied to seek suspension of his sentence, was ultimately benefited by quashing of his conviction as well as the sentence," the bench said in its December 5 verdict.

The top court delivered its verdict on an appeal by the man challenging an April 2024 Madhya Pradesh High Court order rejecting his application seeking suspension of the sentence. A trial court had convicted the man in the case and sentenced him to rigorous imprisonment for 10 years along with a ₹55,000 fine.

According to the top court bench, it had interacted with the appellant and the woman in the presence of their parents and was informed that they were willing to marry each other. It had granted interim bail to the appellant, and the marriage between the parties took place in July, and their parents are happy with this development.

"Consequently, we have invoked our powers under Article 142 of the Constitution of India to do complete justice in the matter by quashing the complaint as well as the conviction and sentence passed against the appellant herein," said the bench of Justices Nagarathna and Sharma.

It said, "We think that owing to a misunderstanding, the consensual relationship between the parties was given a criminal colour and converted into an offence of false promise of marriage, whereas the parties, in fact, intended to marry each other."

The apex court said the appellant had met the woman in 2015 on a social media platform and both had developed a liking for each other. Thereafter, they entered into a consensual physical relationship with each other and as per the woman, she acted on the alleged false promise of marriage given to her by the appellant, it said.

According to the bench, the appellant seeking a postponement in the date of marriage might have caused an insecurity in the woman, which spurred her to file the criminal complaint.

She filed an FIR in November 2021.

After the trial court convicted the man in April last year, he filed an appeal in the high court. His application seeking suspension of sentence was rejected by the high court, following which he moved the apex court.

The top court noted that since the parties were married and residing together, the counsel appearing for both of them submitted that the criminal proceedings may be quashed.

The bench quashed the FIR and the trial court's judgment in the case. Consequently, the appeal pending before the high court is rendered infructuous, it said.

The appellant's counsel told the bench that he was suspended from service owing to the criminal complaint and the conviction and sentence imposed on him by the trial court.

"In view of this order, a direction may be issued to the Chief Medical Officer , Sagar, Madhya Pradesh, to revoke the order of suspension and to pay the arrears of salary to the appellant," the Supreme Court bench said.

Rape-Accused Suspended Cop Dressed As Woman To Evade Cops. How He Was Caught

A suspended constable who allegedly raped a minor in Dholpur, Rajasthan, has been arrested in Vrindavan, Uttar Pradesh. Police reported that the accused was wearing a burqa and lipstick to pose as a woman at the time of his arrest.

The accused, Rambharose alias Rajendra Sisodia, allegedly raped a 16-year-old on December 15. According to Superintendent of Police Vikas Sangwan, Sisodia lured the teenager and her brother to his house with the promise of a job. He then sent the brother to the market and assaulted the girl. When the victim screamed, neighbours rushed to the scene; however, despite a large public protest, the accused managed to flee.

To evade capture, Sisodia repeatedly changed his disguise. While police traced his location to Agra, Lucknow, and Gwalior, he managed to stay one step ahead.

"The criminal was changing his appearance constantly," SP Sangwan said, noting that the accused would alternate between wearing tracksuits or jackets to pose as a VIP or high-ranking police officer.

Following an extensive manhunt, he was finally arrested in Vrindavan. The accused had previously been dismissed from the Rajasthan Armed Constabulary (RAC) due to a prior Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act case and faces multiple other allegations of harassment against women.

A woman in Amroha alleges she was gang-raped under the pretext of “halala” to remarry her husband after triple talaq. Police have arrested multiple accused, invoking triple talaq and POCSO laws.

Amroha, Uttar Pradesh: A woman in Amroha has alleged that she was forced into a “halala” marriage so she could reunite with her husband, who had divorced her twice through instant “triple talaq.” According to her complaint on December 9, 2025, she was “gang-raped” by multiple people on the promise of being remarried to her husband. The case involves allegations of sexual violence, coercion, child abuse, and years of psychological trauma spanning over a decade.
The police have arrested the woman’s husband, his cousin, and a hakim (traditional healer). As the investigation progressed, authorities discovered that more individuals were involved, reported The Times of India.

Legal Action and Charges

Police have invoked Sections 3 and 4 of the 2019 Triple Talaq law, along with multiple provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita covering rape, aggravated hurt, criminal intimidation, and criminal conspiracy. In addition to that, the provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act have also applied, after confirming the woman was underage at the time of her first marriage.

Allegations in the Complaint

The FIR (First Information Report) registered on December 9 at the Said Nagli Police Station, stated that after being divorced by instant triple talaq, she was repeatedly pressured by her husband, his relatives, and clerics to undergo halala so she could return to the marriage.
Halala, as per Muslim personal law, allows a divorced woman to remarry her husband only after marrying another man and consummating that marriage, after which the second husband must divorce her. In practice, the FIR alleges, this is sometimes arranged as a pre-planned, short-term marriage, often a single encounter, intended solely to enable reconciliation, the media report added.
The woman claims that in her case, this process was used as a cover for sexual abuse. She says she was “gang-raped under the false pretext of halala,” with the acts carried out through threats, intimidation, and coercion.

Timeline of Events

According to the FIR, the woman was forcefully married in 2015 at the age of 15. Her husband divorced her through triple talaq in 2016 and again in 2021. She alleges she was compelled to undergo three halala-based reconciliation attempts.
It was 2016, when she was divorced for the first time through "triple talaq". She was told that she must undergo "halala" with an "intermediary" if she wished to get back with her husband.
In February 2025, she claims she was informed that the halala process would need to be repeated twice because her marriage had broken down on two earlier occasions. After years of single parenthood and financial hardship, she says she was assured she would remarry her husband, but later realised the abuse she suffered.

Personal Background

The woman is a former student of a leading school in Aligarh and comes from a family with a background in public service — her grandfather served as a Deputy Superintendent of Police in Uttar Pradesh, and her father is a lawyer.

Current Situation

With her husband now in jail, the woman is struggling to manage her life and care for her young daughter. Her husband, meanwhile, has denied all allegations, claiming that he was harassed and threatened by the woman and her relatives.
SHO Vikas Sahrawat said, “The FIR has been registered on the basis of a written complaint. Further action will depend on corroboration and evidence.” Police are still searching for other accused individuals who are absconding.

Lift offered, then horror unfolds

The woman as per a report by Hindustan Times had been living with her parents following a dispute with her husband. On Monday night, after a heated argument with her mother, she left home saying she was going to a friend’s place in Sector 23.

As she returned around midnight and waited for transport near Metro Chowk, public transport was scarce. Police as per the report by Hindustan Times said she accepted a lift offered by two men in a white Eeco van. Investigators said the accused drove around through the night before throwing her out of the speeding van near Raja Chowk in Faridabad between 3 am and 4 am. The vehicle was reportedly moving at over 90 kmph when she was pushed out.
Despite crying for help, her pleas went unheard due to minimal traffic on the foggy road. Bleeding heavily, the survivor managed to call her sister, who rushed to the spot and took her to Badshah Khan Civil Hospital. Given the severity of her injuries, she was later shifted to a private hospital.

Multiple fractures, surgery planned

Doctors said the woman suffered grave injuries, including a fractured right eye socket, broken facial cavities, a dislocated shoulder, and deep facial cuts requiring more than 20 stitches. “She has swelling on her face, a fracture in the eye socket and a shoulder fracture with dislocation. Blood samples of the accused have also been taken to determine whether they were intoxicated at the time of the assault.
A case of gang rape has been registered at Kotwali police station based on the statement of the survivor’s sister. Police said a test identification parade will be conducted once the woman is discharged from the hospital.

A 25-year-old woman was allegedly raped and assaulted inside a moving van for nearly three hours before being pushed out of the vehicle on the Gurugram–Faridabad Road, police said. The attack left her with serious facial injuries that required 12 stitches.
According to police, the incident occurred late Monday night after the woman accepted a lift in a van when she was unable to find transport around midnight.

Two men were inside the vehicle. Instead of taking her home, they allegedly drove through isolated stretches of Faridabad, holding her captive as dense fog reduced visibility and movement on the road.

Based on a complaint filed by the woman's family, a case was registered at Kotwali police station. A crime branch team detained two suspects on Tuesday, police sources said.

As per the complaint, the woman had left her home around 8.30 pm after an argument with her mother. She told her sister she was going to a friend's house and would return soon. However, when she finally left, it was close to midnight and there was no transport available.
She then accepted a lift with the accused duo.
Police said the van was driven towards the Gurugram-Faridabad Road and taken beyond the Hanuman temple on the stretch.

Around 3 am on Tuesday, the woman was allegedly pushed out of the van near Mula Hotel at Raja Chowk in SGM Nagar while it was still in motion. She later managed to contact her sister, who rushed her to a hospital.

Dhurandhar actor Nadeem Khan detained after woman alleges rape, false promise of marriage

Actor Nadeem Khan is in police custody after a woman accused him of rape and sexual exploitation on the false promise of marriage. On the work front, he was a part of Dhurandhar.

New Delhi:
Actor Nadeem Khan, who has worked in the film Dhurandhar, has been accused by a woman employed as a domestic worker at his home, of rape and prolonged sexual exploitation. Based on her complaint, the Malvani police registered a case and arrested the actor. This has drawn attention due to the serious nature of the allegations and the length of time for which the woman claims the abuse continued.

The case pertains to Mumbai’s Malad area, specifically the Malvani locality, where the woman was working at Nadeem Khan’s home. In her complaint, she alleged that the actor established a physical relationship with her by making a false promise of marriage and continued to sexually exploit her for nearly ten years, starting in 2015, after gradually gaining her trust.

What are the allegations against actor Nadeem Khan?

According to her statement to the police, the woman claimed that the relationship continued over several years on the assurance that she would eventually be married to him, during which time she was repeatedly subjected to sexual exploitation. She told the police that fear, along with social pressure, prevented her from approaching authorities earlier, allowing the situation to persist for a long period without any formal complaint.

The complaint further states that when the accused later refused to marry her and the mental harassment escalated, she decided to gather the courage to approach the police. Acting on her statement, the Malvani police registered an FIR and arrested Khan soon after.

Police action and ongoing investigation

Police officials have confirmed that Nadeem Khan is currently under police custody and being questioned as the investigation proceeds. They are also examining whether the actor may have been involved in similar offences with any other women in Mumbai. Further details are expected as the probe continues.

Bengaluru's Murder Mystery Turns Out a Rape Case: 6-Year-Old Girl Found in Drain Near Temple

Bengaluru police arrested a neighbour for abducting, raping and strangling a six-year-old girl, allegedly over disputes with her mother; the accused was caught fleeing and booked under murder and POCSO.

Bengaluru Murder Mystery: A six-year-old girl, who was found dead last week in a drain in Bengaluru, was raped before she was killed, confirmed the medical examination, as per media reports. According to the police, the accused was frustrated with the mother of the deceased; therefore, he abducted the girl, raped her, and strangled her to death. He was caught during his unsuccessful attempt to flee the city.

The police had recovered the dead body from near a temple in the Nallurahalli area after her father, a ragpicker, filed a missing person complaint at the Whitefield Police Station on Tuesday. During the investigation, the police suspected the involvement of the deceased’s neighbour, Yusuf Khan (35). When they tracked him, the accused was found to be on a train. The police detained him at the Cuttack Railway Station. He was brought to the city, arrested, and charged with murder, reported The Times of India.

In addition to that, the police said, he was also booked under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO). "Now, we will add a rape charge under the POCSO to the case and proceed with the investigation," said a senior police officer, according to the media report.

Police suspect that Khan and the deceased girl’s mother frequently quarrelled over trivial matters, including domestic issues, and were also engaged in a professional rivalry.
"Their fights included matters like fetching drinking water, storing scrap materials outside their tiny houses, and so on. Enraged by the fights and filled with rivalry, the accused kidnapped the victim, raped her, and strangled her to death before fleeing the city," an investigating officer said.

The next call from her sister came at 3:30 am, and there was only silence on the call at that time. "I disconnected and called back. She did not speak. Then came the sobs. I kept talking to her...speaking for around half an hour. Then I called a friend who was talking to her," she said.

Later, the family went to the spot and finally found her. When she was found, her face was split open. "We took her to the hospital, which straightaway referred her to Delhi. We went and got her admitted. She was unconscious the whole time," her sister said

Here's What Happened

The 25-year-old woman got a lift from two men in an SUV, which then proceeded towards Faridabad and drove around on the Faridabad-Gurugram road for two hours.
The woman was gang-raped, brutally assaulted, and thrown out of a moving vehicle on the Gurugram–Faridabad Road, leaving her with multiple fractures and deep wounds. The survivor, a mother of three, is currently admitted to the ICU of a private hospital, where her condition remains serious but stable.

Six days after the incident, the woman remains hospitalised.

A purported video of the victim, presumably recorded after the incident, has surfaced in which she explains that after giving her the lift, one of the accused had deposited ₹600 into her account.

"I did not know them before. As soon as I sat in the car, one of them transferred ₹600 to my PayTM account, and then they locked the car and snatched my mobile. There was dense fog at night. I cried out loud, but there was no help," she said in the video.

PTI couldn't verify the authenticity of the video. Once the woman gets better, an identification parade of the accused will be held before a magistrate. They will then take on a production warrant from the jail for further questioning, the officer added.

Lured, Drugged, Raped For Years: Gwalior Woman Assaulted by Distant Relative; Who Promised To Marry Her

A 21-year-old woman has accused a 30-year-old Indian Army soldier of repeated rape over the past year, claiming he lured her with false promises of marriage and drugged her during assaults.

Bhopal:A 21-year-old woman alleged that her distant relative, a 30-year-old Indian Army soldier, repeatedly raped her over the past year, claiming he lured her under false promises of marriage, drugged her, and sexually assaulted her multiple times, according to the FIR filed on Tuesday. The incident happened in Gwalior, following that Gwalior Police registered a case of sexual assault and criminal intimidation and are searching for the absconding suspect, The Times of India reported.

Drugged at a 'Birthday Party'

The accused maintained contact with her over the past two years and confessed love before promising to marry her. On January 4, 2025, the victim alleged he was near her home for a friend's birthday party and wanted to spend time with her, claiming his friends would join later. He invited her to a secluded hut on the outskirts of the village, where he offered her a cold drink laced with sedatives. When she became dizzy, he raped her. After she gained consciousness he promised marriage to silence her. This became a source of exploitation when he took advantage of that relationship. Being a member of the armed forces, the man allegedly assured her of a stable future, as reported by The Times of India.

Death Threats and Refusal to Marry

As per the report by The Times of India, the woman claims the soldier continued to rape her on multiple occasions, coercing her with assurances of marriage and intimidation. The victim informed her parents about the sexual assault by their relatives. When she and her family recently pressured for marriage, the accused allegedly refused and threatened to kill her and her relatives if they approached the police.

Once he used physical force against her and emotional manipulation to establish intimacy, he began avoiding the question of marriage, which led her to take action against him.

The Delhi Police have apprehended a man for repeatedly raping his 14-year-old daughter in Paharganj, following the mother's departure to Bihar.

Delhi: The Delhi Police has arrested a man for allegedly raping his 14-year old daughter multiple times in the Paharganj area of Central Delhi, police officials said on Monday.

According to a report, the assault began after the girl's mother left for her native village in Bihar about two weeks ago. The victim, a class 8th student, later approched the authorities, saying that she reported the matter to protect her younger sibling.
The girl approached the Paharganj Police Station accompanied by her landlords, who are also the parents of her friend. In her complaint, the girl stated that the abuse began after her mother left for their native village in Bihar about 15 days ago.

She alleged that on the intervening night of January 31 and February 1, her father raped her at their residence. She told the police that despite her resistance, the accused threatened her into silence.

"The girl disclosed that similar incidents occurred four to five times during the preceding 10-15 days," a police officer said.

The girl stated she had remained silent out of fear, as the accused frequently assault her and her mother. Following the complaint, the police registered a case under Section 64(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and Section 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
"A special police team was constituted and the accused was arrested on Monday. The victim was sent for a medical examination and her statement was recorded before the competent authority, where she supported the allegations," the officer added.

'They're Demons': Father’s Grief After 5-Year-Old Abducted, Gang-Raped, Thrown From 3rd Floor In UP's Bulandshahr; Dies

A five-year-old girl was allegedly abducted from outside her home in Bulandshahr on Friday evening, sexually assaulted by two men in their late 20s, and thrown from a third-floor building.

Meerut: A five-year-old girl was allegedly kidnapped from outside her home in Bulandshahr on Friday evening, sexually assaulted by two men in their late 20s, and then thrown from a third-floor building in an apparent attempt to stage the incident as an accident. She was taken to the hospital, where she was declared dead.

According to police, the two accused, both factory labourers, were partying at the time of the crime. They were arrested later that night after a brief encounter with the police.
SSP of Bulandshahr, Dinesh Kumar Singh, said the autopsy revealed that the child had suffered sexual assault and died from strangulation, with multiple injuries across her body. A senior officer told TOI that the accused were drinking when they planned the attack. “They admitted that one of them suggested targeting young girls in the area for ‘fun’. They went outside, spotted the child, and abducted her,” the officer said.

After the crime, the accused attempted to cover it up by throwing the girl from the third floor. However, a friend of the girl’s father had seen her with the men shortly before the incident. Her mother later discovered the child’s slippers in the rented room of the two accused. Both fled when she confronted them. Police said the girl was found unconscious behind the building and was rushed to the nearest hospital, where doctors declared her dead.

“Three police teams were deployed to track the suspects, who were hiding in a small under-construction colony. During the brief encounter, both men sustained bullet injuries to their legs before being arrested and sent to jail. We will ensure a speedy trial in this case,” said the SSP.
An FIR was filed based on a complaint by the victim’s father under sections 70(2) (gang rape) and 103(1) (murder) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), along with sections 5M and 6 of the POCSO Act.
He told TOI that his family had been living in the rented building for around eight months and that the accused were known to them. “We never imagined they could do this to a five-year-old. They are not human, they are demons and deserve the harshest punishment,” he said.
