A 32-year-old woman was allegedly raped by a nursing staff at a medical college ICU in Alwar after being sedated. The hospital administration reportedly tried to suppress the incident until police action was initiated.

A 32-year-old woman was allegedly raped by a member of the hospital’s nursing staff in the ICU ward of ESIC Medical College in Rajasthan on June 4. According to the FIR, the victim was administered a sedative injection before the crime was committed, while her family waited just outside the ward.

As per police reports, the survivor began calling out names, prompting the ward staff to summon her husband. Curtains had been drawn around her bed at the time, and the woman was in a drugged state. It was only in the morning, when she regained consciousness, that she narrated the ordeal to her family. The hospital administration allegedly tried to suppress the matter.

Mahavir Singh, Assistant Sub-Inspector, Alwar said, “A man filed a complaint saying that his 32-year-old wife, who was admitted to the ICU of ESIC Medical College, was raped by the nursing staff on the night of June 4. The accused had drawn curtains around the bed and injected the woman with sedatives before sexually assaulting her. The woman was semi-conscious and resisted the act. When she began crying out her husband’s name, the ICU staff brought him in. Though she tried to tell him about the incident, she could not speak clearly due to the sedation. Eventually, she fell asleep.”

A witness, the husband of another female patient in the ICU, also claimed that “the nursing staff committed a wrong act at night.”

The survivor’s husband approached the medical college administration, but officials allegedly tried to hush up the matter. According to the complaint, the accused even apologised to the woman and her family in front of the officials. The hospital reportedly continued attempts to suppress the incident until the survivor informed the Additional District Magistrate, who promptly directed police to take action.

Following the instructions, the police registered an FIR, conducted the victim’s medical examination, and recorded her statement.

Police confirmed that the woman’s video statement clearly identified the nursing staff member as the perpetrator. “The accused first injected her with a sedative, rendering her unconscious, and then raped her,” the victim said in her statement. Authorities have initiated an investigation, including reviewing CCTV footage and proceeding with the arrest of the accused.

Commenting on the incident, Dr Aseem Das, Dean of ESIC Medical College, said, “As soon as we received information, we formed an investigation team. The team will submit its report by Saturday. Strict action will be taken against whoever is found guilty.”

I read about this the other day. Disgusting aminal, use his body for medicine trails before release to mass population till his body has completely melted away...

as long as men see women as objects to be exploited for their pleasure, no amount of laws or deterrence can stop such behaviour. That woman is likely traumatised for life, no punishment is gonna fix that.

Castrate and execute rapists as soon as proven guilty. Not worth letting them rot in jail

The harsher the punishment, the more likely they will be to not even go near this sort of crime. The more lenient they are, the more victim blaming as we see in south Asian about women there is, then these scums will feel more at ease to get away with it

Theirs nothing supreme mumkin cannot fix

I have seen a lot of nursing and clerical staff of hospitals to be extremely vile people. (obviously not all) If any physician is found to be an accomplice, he should be punished as well.

If anyone here defends this or even mildly shows any support to the convicted party then they should be banned from this forum and reported to the authorities

Should make an example out of him. Pathetic animal. Life imprisonment is not even enough.
According to the complaint, the accused even apologised to the woman and her family in front of the officials.
Apology?
All the involved officials also should be booked. If hospital admin is found to be culpable enough, they should revoke their license too.

Disgusting and vile, but that is what you expect to happen in the rape capital of the world.

Women and minorities are not safe in chaiwala Modi's extremist India.

Women regularly get raped in India. Even tourists are not safe. A Brazilian female was raped by 7 Indian males not long ago. A British woman was also raped.

I don't think females should travel to India (as a tourist) as it is dangerous.

I never understand why females even go to India. Aren't they aware of predatory Indian men who see women as nothing but sex objects? There needs to be better education about India so tourists avoid going to that crap hole.

Some women are very naive I guess. Some of them fall in love with criminals, for example.

I don't know why anyone visits India as a tourist when there are options like Maldives, Gilgit-Baltistan (Pakistan), China, Bhutan, and even Sri Lanka. Those places are much more appealing than India which is dirty and crowded.

I see you cleverly excluded Bangladesh. :vk2

Too embarrassed to put your country in the list? :dw:mv

Charge them, give them a fair trail and not Media trial and the right to defend themselves but when found guilty...
  1. Death Penalty for Rapists & Pedophiles
  2. Death Penalty for Murderers

I believe all sexual violence is evil, not just the violence committed against European women. The violence against these poor Ind women is sickening but you guys dont care. Absolutely disgusting
Everyone called it a deplorable act.

For the posters whose real intention of starting this thread and posting anti-India stuff, Pot calling Kettle.....

Just words. Look at the passion they showed to protect the European women but the only place they can make a difference is at home, but they couldn't care less. My posts are more of an attack on your pathetic ideology rather than against Ind women. I hope they find their voice against this evil violence

Yes. Your own Generals admitted that you used Rape as weapon of war in Kashmir. So yes all day long
Rapes are what Pak army did to Bangladeshi Hindus in 1971. You are getting confused.

Show me a link where Indian army generals saying that they raped Kashmiri women? It will be news to me.

Oh, did I forget to tag you for your opinion? Go on then, share your thoughts on the OP, though the chances of that actually happening are pretty slim due to obvious reasons. :inti

They weren't planned like they are with you guys in Kashmir as your General himself admitted. And this along with the rape culture that exists in India your pathetic soldiers dont need any more encouragement. You have a big problem and those Indian women need protection from Indian men

I have told before and I will say it again , India has some serious issues , and Rape is one of them. No point in defending this. The punishments should be harsh and executed publicly , so that those who are planning , it should act as a kind of deterrent.

More importantly , there should be a chapter in school books for civic sense and treat women as Humans not to objectify them. It is very very important that next generation is different , because this generation is already out of hand. At least start working on the next.
