Sindh governor turned away by security staff of Maryam's son-in-law

In a surprising development, security guards of Maryam Safdar, the daughter of deposed prime minister Nawaz Sharif, denied Sindh Governor Muhammad Zubair entry when he came to meet her at the residence of her son-in-law in Islamabad on Thursday.

According to Express News, the gatekeeper at Chaudhry Munir’s house in Islamabad refused to open the main gate for Zubair, who waited outside for some time and then left in a huff.

In a video clip aired on Express News, Governor Zubair could be seen standing along with his entourage outside the gate and trying unsuccessfully to hide his embarrassment.

Workers of the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) also argued with the security staff at the gate to have the gate opened, but in vain.

Later, the deposed premier’s daughter intervened and reprimanded the security staff for not letting Governor Zubair in. She also called up Zubair and asked him to revisit the house.

The doors were finally opened for the governor when he came back again.

So the governor of the second largest province of the country gets turned away from a layman's house. He is a house pet of the Nooras? Is there no sanctity for the position of a governor?

As per Asad Umar, 98% of his family supports PTI, even Zubair Umar's own family supports PTI but he is old fashioned and thinks things are heading in right direction and things will eventually improve whereas likes of Asad Umar think major strategic shift is required if we are to get anywhere anytime soon.

Zubair deserved the treatment though, he became governor as a reward for defending Sharifs and this treatment is part of parcel.

The pic is from PTI Women's Wing Karachi Convention yesterday as you can see there are no males sitting on the chairs. IK is in Sindh and Karachi for a week doing jalsas, holding meetings, attending seminars and different events.

Gradually he progressed ,from Mardan he came to Peshawar worked on various assignments started writting columns and finally have jack pot by becoming Editor of Biggest KPK daily Mashriq.there his columns statred getting noticed for its first hand knowledge about Afghan issues.

At that time he wasn't with a national newspaper like Jang and that was like 12-14 years ago but will try if i can find some of his pieces from daily mashriq local newspaper of KP or his ptv program clips.

Ironically Mr Saleem Na Insafi writing about insaf

I don't watch Mubashar Luqman shows because it's very clear he is biased against Sharifs. As much as i love people exposing Sharif mafia, you get sick of propaganda. Same is the case with Slaeem Safi, Talat Hussain and let's not even talk about Najam Sethi.

Safi literally spews venom when discussing Imran Khan or PTI, gives lot more space to his beloved Maulana Fazlu or Asfandyar.
