So you show Fawads stats for this year but then ignore Misbahs in the same year.

Misbah is a rubbish ODI batsman and he will prove it in the World Cup.

Okay Fawad is out, still played a decent knock but his game is not to attack which his how he got out, perfect #3/#4 with partners such as Maqsood, Sohail, Sarfraz and Umar Akmal
 
Fawad Alam gets into such an awkward and awful position when he tries to slog. What's wrong with his footwork and hand-eye coordination?

What stats did I show? Misbah is our best ODI batsman and he'll show it during the WC.
 
Sad part is, Fawad probably still hasn't done enough in the eyes of the selectors but on the other Shafiq must be getting praises from all parts of the PCB

#3 is near perfect for him but also for Haris Sohail. Hoping both Maqsood and Akmal play in the WC.

They must be brain dead if they a slow selfish innings of 56 is better than 62 at a SR of 107. Shafiq really killed the chase with his innings at a SR of 72, imagine if we were (and will be) chasing 300+

I'd actually have Haris at #5 because Maqsood is more aggressive, also allows a RH/LH combination with Maqsood slotted in between the two. Also Haris is a good finisher as we have seen in T20s
 
Shafiq 50 will confirm his spot but Fawads fifty wont get him a spot .
 
These easy singles will not be available in international cricket

PCB logic=more time at the crease (regardless of the amount of runs scored) gets you into the inner circle.

What decades are these camera's from? Do they not have professional cameramen? Can they not find a team of good commentators?

I assume they did a pathetic job in advertising this tournament as well, no atmosphere whatsoever.
 
How ironic that 'technically correct' Shafiq is out LBW AGAIN whereas Fawad is out trying to hit a six. In fact I don't think I've ever seen Fawad out LBW

Oh please, Anwar is NO international class batsmen/all-rounder. I never said he was technically deficient against the short ball, I just said he played all around that particular delivery.

Yes he is and no he didn't. He was beaten by the pace and the awkward bounce.

Must be some all-rounder, tulla baz with the bat (look at his last innings vs NZ). The less said the better with his ability with the ball (averages 68 with the ball in international cricket).
 
I actually had no interest in the match after Shafiq got out but I was curious who will win the motorcycle..:p

There is a difference between saying international player (Faisal Iqbal is also an international player) and an international class player. I think this is where the misunderstanding is.

Still an international batsman and batting very well today. Hope he doesn't make the WC squad though.
