So how come we have large crowds for the PSL in Pakistan but not for domestic cricket?

Is it due to the difference in Marketing and Advertising?

Is it the involvement of the private sector and franchises?

Is it the involvement of Foreign players?

Why can't we replicate the same success for our entire domestic cricket? How can it be done?

Regular format and schedule changes combined with poor quality cricket is your answer.

In addition to the obvious, like foreign players and private franchises the quality and promotion of PSL is on another level than the domestic. The production quality of PSL games with graphics, analysts, in ground give aways and atmosphere to engage the crowd is also missing from domestic games. PSL games are made out to be a big deal, and domestic tourneys come and go without any hoopla

I belive it's the marketing and also the foreign players. It gives the PSL more popularity.

The point of this thread is to give the PCB ideas on how to improve Domestic Cricket. Maybe getting foreign players involved will be a way

Nowhere in the world domestic matches get much attendance.

How come there are large crowds for the NBA finals but none for my weekend basketball game with my friends?

Marketing, foreign players, activities at the grounds, good production and high player salaries (gives prestige to PSL).
