Another big tournament CT2017 gone and same old story...South Africa choked.

The top saffers players have already announced WC 2019 to be their last shot at glory and all of the seniors would be retiring since they are already on wrong side of 30. See the list:

Amla, Du plesis, De Villiers, Duminy, Morris, Morkel, Styen, Tahir.

I see only Decock and Rbada carrying the flag and Miller supporting them in limited over cricket. They have already lost two potential world class cricketer in Rossouw and Abott to Kolpak deals.

South Africa will only become the next Zimbabwe here on because of the unneeded quota system and their racist government. Not a single player of color, apart from maybe Rabada, makes the team on merit yet they play because of the racist government they have.

Hopefully, if this can change, South Africa will meet a lot of success.

That's an astounding statement. Most white South African cricketer's I've seen have been extremely patriotic. Faf Du Plessis' love for his country screams out through his very eyes - while KP, despite not even playing for South Africa has a lot of love for his home country.

It's not their fault that they have to pay for the sins of their forefathers.

They'll definitely go through a rebuilding phase. Replacing ATGs like Steyn, Amla and ABD is incredibly difficult, not to mention the other seniors like Faf, Morkel, Tahir and Philander. However, with De Kock, Ngidi, Maharaj and Rabada, they have enough quality to remain a good, if not great, side.

South Africa doesn't need sell-outs like those two. De Kock is much better than Rossouw and Abbott wasn't anything special.

South Africa has always been a top side throughout history they have had world class players even if a lot of them didn't get to play muh due to the ban they were still considered as the world class..

Historically speaking they always find players who are world class and keep being a top team in the world but if people are saying they don't have anyone in domestic then I would hate for SA to go the WI way..
