Took a great catch to dismiss Upul but dropped the easier one.

Watched parts of Shahs Innings. He batted beautifully. I think he needs to be batting at No.3, he seems to pace his innings pretty well.

I think the Mustard went with the wrong hand or should not have gone at all and let the 1st slip take the catch

Defo wrong hand! why do England keep bring in these batsmen keepers? surely there must be someone out there who can do the same job and keep wicket well! Its not like the Priors, Mustards, Jones are setting the world on fire with their batting.

sanga doesnt seem to be himself in terms of batting in last few months. he seems to be batting under a lot of pressure

Jayasuriya out ct at cover by Bell off Sidebottom
SL 21-2 after 5.4 overs
and a dog comes on the ground. looks like different than the one in last match

a much needed 4 by Jayawerdena to end the over
SL 29-2 after 10 overs
Eng was also 29-2

C Silva out ct collingwood at point off Broad
SL 38-4 after 14.1 overs - need 197 more to win

Oh dear

Imagine if we were 38 for 4 against England

PakPassion would be in a wrist slitting frenzy

Shhhhh...you said the *W* word...

this can be a good match. I must say
SL 74-4 after 20
Eng in 3 Powerplays 29-2 17-0 17-2
SL in 3 Powerplays 29-2 17-2 28-0

Dilshan bowled by Swann. I must say the ball went between bat and pad
SL 90-5

Jayawerdene out ct at midwicket by Pietersen off Collingwood
SL 90-6 after 24 overs

Maharoof out ct & b Swann. I must say it was a good catch
SL 121-7 after 32.2 overs

Vaas ct behind off Colligwood. I must say the ball must have touched the bat for it to be a catch
SL 126-8 after 33.5 overs

a new dog in ground now. passing the square leg umpire. picked up the pace after umpire did a shoooo signal but went back to stroll 2 seconds later

I must say that dog has a good technique and wants to stay on the field as long as he can. I must say it is a complete dog

All over, England win by 65 runs

I didn't see this coming. Gritty batting by Collingwood and Shah to drag us too a respectable score. The damage was done with the new ball though. Fantastic spells by Sidebottom and Broad to get the pressure on early and then well supported by Swann and Collingwood. Good signs but i reckon we need to be batting in most games first to have a chance.

series tied 1-1. good performance by England with both bat and ball
