With the men in green victorious in the 1st T20, the series cannot be lost. Skipper Afridi said he's willing to give everyone a go regardless of the result, keeping the WT20 in mind.

With that said, this would be my line-up (and hopefully Afridi's as well!)

3 changes for me: Irfan (needs rest and is looking rusty), Hafeez (rested; we get to try out bench out), & Imad Wasim (need to try our bench out) OUT for Zia, Nauman, & Yasir (Vandersay was successful, so tempted to give Yasir a go, also keeping in mind that the T20 WC is in India).

Would keep Sarfraz out as Rizwan did not get a chance to bat in the 1st T20.

As Captain saying again and again that they are checking new lads for T20 World Cup, the following changes is due:

1. Irfan out-Zia In.
2. Hafeez out-Nauman In

I like to have sarfraz in but now check other players.

Spot on. Perfect team. Some people may say that Why not to play sarfi? For those, Sarfi position is confirm in the team. He is being rested not dropped. And team is trying bench strength so it may give us a solid team combination for WC.
Won't mind if they give chance to Sarfi instead of Rizzu. But better to go with Rizzu

I would give Hafeez a rest plus try out Zia.

As for Shehzad in a T-20 when you have a line-up in which everyone up to number 10 can hold with the bat than there is no point playing with an opener who fails to utilize the power play and plays a little better than run a ball.

46 he made in 38 balls.....almost 1/3rd of the total allocated deliveries.

You ball tight to this guy and he will struggle especially with his inability to rotate the strike.

Against more quality attacks he won't get these loose balls to catch up on his strike rate.

Man your team looks WEAK.. The only people to watch for are Perara while opening, Mathews and Siriwardana..

SL have found a good alrounder in Siriwardana, and he looks very dangerous when in full flow.

Rizwan, I love him as a player, a favourite of mine even around 2012 when not many knew of him, I just don't think the T20 game is for him, he is an accumulator, we're also playing him at the wrong slot in ODIs, he's a #3 and should be treated as one. Sarfraz should play in his place in T20s.

I do not like how we've been playing our talent at positions they are not suited to, Nauman is an opener in T20s, let him open. Azam is born to be an opener in ODIs, let him open.

Stopped swinging the ball and lost his accuracy. Imagine a 120km/h bowler bowling straight balls with no movement . He is still in this T20 line up though.

SL have found a good alrounder in Siriwardana, and he looks very dangerous when in full flow.

Since it is T20, this line up is okay. Most of these guys have good power and don't need to rely on singles alone. SL bowling looks very weak. Dilshan is still there. Kusal can't be trusted, he is inconsistent. The funny thing is Sriwardana only avgs 25 in List A and has never scored a century in List A matches. He might be one of those batsmen who can strike the ball but won't last long.

While I know Imad is doing great and Yasir is not much of a T20 bowler, I feel Yasir has a very important role in the T20 WC in India, so he should be tried tomorrow. Plus, the SL leggie had succes yesterday.

Drop Zia for Irfan. Seriously what is the thinking behind playing Irfan in T20s? Irfan and Rahat are both brainless. T20 requires a sharp cricketing mind where strategies need to be adjusted every ball/over and they're not suited for it.

Yasir will get smashed like the last ODI. Leg-spinners are a dangerous proposition in t20's (unless you can bowl with Afridi's pace).

Zimbabwe series is a good time to make changes..
We still have players like Wahab Riaz, Yasir shah, Sohaib maqsood, Saeed Ajmal, Saad Nasim, Sohail Khan, Haris Sohail who all can deliver in international cricket.. Right now the same squad should be played.. Dropping Hafeez is not a good option.. U don't drop senior performing players to make way and give chances to debutants.. U swap inconsistent players with debutants.. That's the difference.

If SL doesn't lose more than 2 wickets before 75, Pakistan are in trouble. This SL batting line up contains lot of batsmen who can score 50 of 25. Apart from that 14 year old looking malnourushied guy, every other batsmen is capable of big hitting.

It's 50-50, though.
He can also be on the receiving end and that's the problem with leggies.
I like Imad as a bowler in t20's judging from his pace variations.
Imad over Yasir in t20's any day because you don't get the time to recover in t20's, which leggies are so often used to.

1) Mukhtar Ahmed - hopefully he can bounce back from Thursday
2) Nauman Anwar (Ahmed Shehzad has played every game this tour, he can have a rest after his good score on Thursday + Nauman Anwar deserves a game)
3) Mohammad Hafeez - he hasn't got any big T20 scores recently so shouldn't be rested.
4) Shoaib Malik - should be rested but if he is then we have no back up bowlers in the 11.
5) Umar Akmal - hopefully he can build on Thursday's good innings.

7) Mohammad Rizwan (WK) - hopefully he actually gets a chance to bat
