Every ball of Kaushals is threatening.

Still no Herath?

I think he will get Misbahs wicket today

Fantastic start! :herath

Too often though, we've gotten opposition teams into this position, five, six wickets down for not many, and then let it slip.

We should have fielded first.

All the wickets, Azhar maybe being the exception, have been down to batsman error. Don't put it on the toss or the pitch when crap batting is the answer.

Are you watching the same match? Theres a reason why this pitch produces results almost everytime.

Whenever the ball seams around you can trust the Pakistani batsmen to be all at sea.

SL have bowled well but we need another miracle partnership so we can at least post a competitive score.

Shezhad - Playing away from his body like a tailender
Azhar - Good ball which seamed away a touch. Had looked pretty comfortable for most of his innings otherwise.
Younus - Misjudgement of length and/or bounce.
Hafeez - Played back and tried to cut a ball that wasn't short enough from a bowler who was turning it miles. Stupid batting.
Shafiq - Apparently he was fast asleep and missed Hafeez's dismissal because he rocked back to another ball that wasn't short enough. Crap batting.

So yeah, I'm not seeing where all of our batsmen have been destroyed by a pitch filled with demons.

Is Herath no longer the no.1 spinner for Sri Lanka?

This new guy is getting some Muralisque turn here & it seems SL havent missed Herath at all.

In these pitches we need at least 2 fast bowlers but we fielded 1 fast and 2 spinners :facepalm::facepalm:

I think you should get some sleep and should comment on Pakistani batting after you see the SL batsmen go at it. There are no demons on the pitch but like I said before, this pitch is known to produce results which means its suited for bowlers more than batsmen.

Even Wahab doesn't do much with the new ball unfortunately. Rahat and Adil would possibly have done well here considering the seam and bounce on offer.

Both Misbah and Younis due to their ages along with Shehzad (a useless hack) look burden to our team.

You need to give Sri Lankan bowlers more credit. Prasad bowled well and Kaushal was spinning it square.

Yet a team has won the toss and bowled on just two occasions on this ground. Both times it was Sri Lanka putting in Bangladesh so they could polish off the minnows in three days and have a couple of days off.

Also, crap batting from the opposition doesn't make misjudging the length any less embarrassing for Pakistani batsmen.

If Sarfraz falls early today, Pakistan might well fold out for a below 150 score. Still too early to declare SriLanka to be on top though. Wait till both the teams bat out.
Wahab Riaz seems to like such positions i suppose. Even Junaid might be tricky on this track. Yasir is in form.

Once again poor batting means we are in a big hole at start of a test match, we need to improve big time and keep expecting miracles to bail us out!

Saved by the rain! The ball is turning a lot already though. Good signs for Yasir Shah and co.

We are gonna reach at least 417 from here.Sir Sarfaraz will be here shortly to murder the bowlers. :P
