That's not ICC or BCCI's problem.

I am calling event in last 10 years - IND, BD or SRL has gone through political crisis as well. Most of those events have hardly any influence from central politics - Zardari or Newaz has lot more other issues that cricket, just like Modi or Ghandhi, or Hasia - Khaleda.
