I thought Anwar 'll bowl at least 7 overs - this is basically 5 overs old ball & Malik might struggle to grip it. Anwar 'll go for more in his 2nd spell.
 
Why can't cricket commentators just use those headset mics like other sports ?
 
Pakistan need to attack amd look for wickets or else Matthews and Perera can hurt in the end
 
I realized that Hafeez wasn't as economical as he used to be, Malik however looks a lot better now as a bowler.
 
Should always have a slip for spinners. Azhar made a mistake by not providing Malik with one early on.

Good to see Azhar back up, by the way!

Nothing more than 290 has ever been chased in SL. We are done for this game.
Hopefully fatlinga will be dropped. Heard media reports which says he is causing rifts in the team, asking Chandi to be dropped from "his"t20 team.
 
Noticed that Rahat tends to start quite badly but isn't too bad later on.

So because India hasn't played Zim in tests recently, that means Pak's test match loss doesn't count, and that we should laugh at India for losing a meaningless T20? Ok pal.

Did I say our loss doesn't count? :facepalm:

And we can laugh at India all we want because they do the same when we, or any other team for that matter, lose to minnows.
 
Here is "question of the decade" We all know rahat can bowl asif level length and full pitch deliveries, but why he still keep bowling that short pitch stuff which is useless with his pace, anyone with proper answer, ?
 
Rahat looked like he had grown a brain but he hasn't. He keeps on bowling short.

He lacks bowling intelligence of asif.
 
We are kinda like India now.
Runs coming easy, bowling taking a serious hit.
I would rather watch Pakistan defend lower totals than bowl rubbish while defending a bigger one.
 
The run rates are basically identical. Need wickets, but our "fast bowlers" are a mess.
 
Every time Rahat hits good length, he gets some movement, but still he has this obession of bowling short

I think it was India who chased 294 once. Raina hit a century i think. Chandimal "dropping himself" in the last T20 WC was mostly a bs, probably Malinga or the other Sanga,Mahela,Dilly told him to shut up and sit down. Malinga must be given a series off to lose weight and work on his fitness. Lakmal, Prasad, Pradeep and Chameera should be our main pacers. If Malinga flops again in the next matc, he should be dropped. Chandimal is a must now days, can't drop him for anything. Another pacer in for Thisara and Vithanage or Angelo Perera in for Siriwardene. We don't need hacks, we need batsmen who can score 30 to 35 runs.
 
So refreshing to watch a keeper who makes few mistakes

Yar itni mar khanay ka baat tu idiot se idiot bowler b smajh jaey k ab short pitch ball nai krni, but don't know that do rahat even have some thing between his ears, he just bowl short pitch on "auto pilot"
 
Upul Tharanga will never learn, complete tried and tested failure. Sri Lanka showed be moving on from him.

Today's dismissal alone is worthy of resulting a 6 month exile as far as I am concerned.
 
That's extremely poor from Tharanga. Important wicket for Pakistan, just needed to peg SL back.
 
It is clear that SL is saving Prasad, Lakmal, Chameera, Kaushal and Herath for India's test tour.
 
'Can't play spin, so let me charge down the wicket like a complete idiot and take a wild swipe'.

Reminds of our batsmen vs. WI in last year's WT20.

Ahmed Shehzad - similar average and SR, similar weaknesses. Has a few runs and hundreds but has shown no improvement over the years and is persisted with due to lack of options, but enough is enough.
 
Us losing this series is the best thing that can happen, sick of Marvan and his stupid 9-2 team combination. Hopefully marvan will be booted out with his ingenious ploys.

And so they should. This series don't matter for SL, they have qualified for CT. They should just help Pakistani brothers out :)

And we replace him with who ? Kapugedara ? No any other good batsmen left in the domestics :facepalm:.
