What did any SL player apart from Dilshan, Herath and Chameera do in the last 10 T20s ? 3 weeks ago SL were ranked #1 in T20, now they are down to like #8. Bangladesh has talented players coming up. SL doesn't. All the "up coming star" has turned to be dudds.

They don't even need a good slogger just a grafter. Nabi and shenwari are good.sloggers but they lack quality batsman

Afghanistan is a war torn country. I think it was just recently that they even got proper cricket grounds, because in the past these guys had only bumpy grounds and plots, where they would place mattress to do dive catches because they also never had good grass in their country for fielding or for cricket.
Before criticizing the Minnows, also try to look at from where they are coming from.

You should had watch with the class Noor Ali Zadran bats with. He has that bent elbow and uses his feet and arms well for shots.
Asghar Stanikzai, i have said in the past aswell, this is the kind of Batsmen Afghanistan needs, and he is a good batsmen. Today he build the whole innings.

yes shezad is a hack, and 1 or 2 batsmen aswell, but not all are hacks

I'm aware of that. I'm also aware that most of their players are from small structure containing players from in and around Kabul. Afg deserves a Test status. They remind me of Bangladesh of 2 years ago. Good but do dumb things here and there.
There aren't any rocks here, they have nice lush grass, should be able to dive around. 3-4 boundaries they let go went through their legs and over their hands. They didn't need to dive.
Yeah he is and his older brother or someone from his family is a top level officials at ACB ( not taj wali). They are wasting najib ullah zadran at number 8 .. He should be battling at least by the 15th over in t20s and he can change the game.

I can´t describe how pleased I am to see Afghanistan play so well and yesterday challenge Sri Lanka. It is not only a fight, it was a fightback from being 51-4 at one stage. If only, if only their fielding too had got its act together, we might well have been in for an even tighter game. Here´s wishing that they cause at least one upset.
