Inam has done well but has yet to play a match winning ODI innings against a top opposition. Shaan has the highest List A average ever. He surely deserves a chance to show what he can do. No harm in trying him

Babar and Malik are locks. Asif Ali is a hack and should not be in our ODI team. Its embarrassing watching this guy bat. Harris Sohail I feel should stick to tests for now. With one open spot, lets give it to the most inform man in Pakistan cricket right now

If T20i has shown us one thing is that Hafeez is at his best with 20 overs left in the innings. Use him like we did in the champions trophy final. The man can clearly hit the big shots and we need him in the last 10-15 overs. Let Babar, Malik and co their thing at the top of the innings. Hafeez should focus on being the finisher. Choice between Shahdab and Faheem should come down to the pitch and the player inform at the moment.
The Fast Bowlers

Shaheen / Amir
We know 3 of these 4 will be in the starting XI. in England, I would not want to play without Amir. I know he has been out of form, but he can bat a bit as well and by next year if he finds his rhythm back hard to leave him out.
The above would be a much more balanced outfit than what we have been doing with. It is very important that we do two things:
1. Drop Asif Ali
2. Convince Hafeez that he should bat at 6/7, so we can fit another solid batsman at top
We bat all the way to number 8, Amir / Hasan can provide some handy blows as well.
