Yes and no. Maybe because I just don't understand the game and the rules that well. Plus I had no affiliations with any team so was watching as a neutral observer.
that would be the case for a large chunk of the Super Bowls (or any final of a big event in any sport)
i do agree that there is no emotional aspect for most of us.
I only got into NFL when I was 18 and understood it fully a couple of years later. (more I understand it the more I appreciate the sport)
I support the Steelers but I doubt it will ever be a situation when a Steelers loss would hurt me more than a Pakistan cricket team or Manchester United loss. Its hard to get crazy about a sport you started following when you were an adult.
