What's new

Talent Spotter : Hasan Ali

I don't like the way sarfraz treated him today . He should have given him confidence instead of getting furious

Pathetic attribute :danish

PSL February 2016 :

Hasan Ali was bowling 5 kph quicker and was bowling nice outswing.

He did not bowl those Speeds in England and in UAE and he is not in that rhythm.

Watch his bowling videos in Slo-Mo. He is delivering the ball Tad early in his delivery stride and is losing his balance in follow through hence he is bowling 5kph slower and is also struggling with his Accuracy.

Though Hasan Ali impressed many here at PP during Eng tour but I believe quality wise He bowled better in last PSL and in 2nd Last National One Day Cup when he represented Islamabad.

Also I still maintain my stance that He needs to be very very precise with his Line and Length because Slight Error and Batsman will lift him over the Top (Play on the Up Easily) because of Less Bounce he gets.

Agree with Wasim Akram with that height he must stay as upright as he can during delivery stride otherwise quality batsman will drive his good length deliveries on the up aswell.

Hope he revives his OutSwing which was his main wicket taking delivery in Fc cricket. Taylor did swing the Ball and Hasan should have been able to swing the ball atleast in his first over like last PSL.

Taylor bowled the 2nd over with a new ball. Hasan's first over was with a 7 overs old ball.

Sohail Tanveer was swinging the ball in 6th over of the Innings.

Domestic One Day Cup & PSL outswing was missing in England and is missing here aswell.

He fits perfectly in the playing eleven of a number 9 ranked side. If we were 4-6 in the rankings then his selection wouldn't have made sense.

Guys we are minnow level so we will get minnow level players. Hasan Ali is perfectly in keeping with our standards these days. The sooner you accept this the better..

I think Sadaf Hussain will be the same too. PP'ers hype these domestic bullies to no end only to be disappointed when their true abilities are revealed
Say what?

That Parnell wicket reminded me of the Pakistan of the past... what a delivery.. off stump outrooted.. brilliant seam movement.

Great catching today. Massive improvement.

Bowled quite well. Was pumped up and wicket suited his bowling style. Was skidding and his slower ones were sticking with the surface.

Excellent all round stuff from him today.

Just keeps getting better and better. He has impressed me since I saw him in the PSL 2016 edition.

Indians think hasan is inferiour version of agarkar. Do u guys think its a fair comparison? I think indians are being too nice to Agarkar

Agarkar took around 300 wickets in less than 200 matches at a very good strike rate. Hasan Ali would do well to reach those numbers.

well done brother for highliting his talent..you have done very good job and hassan and we all are indebted to your hard work ....thank you once again....

Not really. He actually wrote off Hasan in this very thread. Now back to fan-boying.

bahut hai zulm ke dast-e-bahāna-jū ke liye
jo chand ahl-e-junūñ tere nām-levā haiñ .....

Clutch bowler. Ideally such performances should have been delivered by Amir, as he is supposedly a big thing, lol. Amir gets the hype for nothing. He is yet to deliver such performances after his comeback in ODI cricket. Now some will say give him more time, lol. In the background wallpaper on this forum, it should have been Hasan instead of the over hyped Amir.

shikwa e zilmati shab sa tu kahi bahtar ta..apnay hessay k koi shamma jalatay jaatay,,,

He is lovable cricketer and we want him to improve his weak zones. Hope he Will represent Pakistan and will give us nice memories to remember. Wish u a very best of luck.

he came
he saw
he conquered

thats only only i can describe him
to be honest never expected him to get this much success so early in his career

Curtains unless He by Miracle adds 15 kph to become.

Not needed in any format.

Rather than improving after PSL he has regressed.

No future at 5'8 height.

Shut doors on Anwar, Bhatti and Hassan's career.

You don't get bounce so easy to hit on the up unless he bowls 150 155kph which will never happen.

Seam Position Gone. No body strength.

Stop Hyping him now and Zafar Gohar who doesn't even know how to bowl closer to the stump and cuts side line and again short heighted doesn't get any bounce. Ripss ka achaar daal lou.

Stop hyping Rizwan as next Viv Richards. Averages 8 in last 7 Odi's. Minnow bashers not needed. Brilliant fielder so go sort your game against fast medium bouncers 138+kph and all types of spin bowling and top runs chart in a season than welcome back. Player who scores every 3rd game is needed.

Stop floating your P****heez.

Pakistan First.

Not impressed at all. You would think that a bowl without a lot of pace would know that he has to develop some kind of swing but he is gun barrel straight. Very mediocre.

Not impressed

:))
I knew it from the start, he ain't special.

But no, he was the next best thing according to the posters. Him, Amad Butt, Aamir Yamin were going to take over the world.

Infact, posters here wanted them in the test squad.

Once again Pakistan has done the same thing. Throw an unfinished product into international after a single good Domestic tournament.....
Long line of these 'one hit wonders' who fail internationally like Usman Khan Shinwari, Imran Khan the 3rd, Iftikhar Ahmed, now Hassan Ali etc

I think Sadaf Hussain will be the same too. PP'ers hype these domestic bullies to no end only to be disappointed when their true abilities are revealed

Now plz don't hype Amad butt.

selected too soon

Very unimpressive. Another bowler who is in the league of Cheema, Bhatti and Anwar.

So, people wanted him to perform like Wasim from first series? Cute :)

So many childish posts here. No wonder why our team is a complete mess, no patience in fans, no patience among selection.

Hasan will come into his own when conditions and the ball allow for swing. He's bowling extremely well considering the circumstances. Any bowler of his height would've been thrashed for 100 on these pitches with the white kookaburra offering zero lateral movement upfront. It's a testament to his great command over the ball.

He's well capable of bowling 85+ as he showed in the previous two matches. The drop in pace is likely due to a niggle. Probably the tight hamstring acting up.

Say what?
Chief Destroyer read your all posts in this thread and i must say Sir you are brilliant at analyzing fast bowlers, and you were right about Hasan Ali. Alhamdulillah he is world best bowler now.

Humble pies to those who thought Ehsan Adil, Aizaz Cheema, Rao Iftikhar, Majid Ali e.t.c are better than Hassan Ali.

And hats off to #GreenRoars Chief Destroyer @ and other who believed in the talent of Hasan Ali. It's not easy to support some one when the world is against you.

Reading interviews of all young players who are currently playing and i cant stop my laughter. Hats to the Admins though.

Always knew this guy had it in him. Didnt expect him to be this good though but always knew he wasnt the kind of bowler who will fade away.

Actually I don't believe in doing " Pooja " of players.

Bounce my post where I mentioned that in Cricket History there is only one Giant in terms of Fast bowling with this height and that is great Malcolm Marshall. So for Hasan being a seamer (doesn't swing) He needs to add 10-15 kph pace in order to compensate for the bounce he gets.

So despite a huge limitation (height) He did work very very hard on his fitness (still needs more work) increased his pace and made himself suitable enough and successful.

Hard work and vectorial hard work paid off.

Since my first few weeks at PP i highlighted Hasan Ali based on what I saw few years back when Malik gave him the oppurtunity for Stallions as a 17-18 years old kid who was bowling 130 kph. And when i highlighted his potential he wasn't even playing regular List A cricket and no FC too.
