I just feel that asif ali ll be needed in england and babar azam has to open with haris sohail at 3. This is just for the world cup. After the world cup obviously things ll change.

You are right its just a difference of opinion here, I see that Asif Ali just isnt good enough to occupy the number 7 spot as a hitter and take the space of an all rounder, an extra pace bowler or spinner or even another pure batsman Rizwan, Shan Masood Abid Ali. I feel they would contribute a lot more to the cause than an Asif Ali would. But lets just agree too disagree. Just to reiterate my team would be :

yeah might work for a team like india but pakistan's batting is already weak as it is, don't want to make it even weaker.

and faheem is horrendous with the bat, at least imad has a few knocks under his belt.

i think aamir yamin might have been a better option

Ahmed Shehzad is a terrible player who will only create pressure on his partner by playing out dot balls through crisp drives straight to fielders.

Umer Khan and Mohammad Hasnain aren't ready for WC yet.

Wahab Riaz isn't dependable with the ball and can go for quite a few runs, losing us matches pretty badly.

Shadab at 7 and Wahab Riaz at 8 makes the tail pretty long. We won't be able to finish well and thus won't be able to get good totals.
