The Caste System: Disgusting bigotry or uncomfortable truth?

An upper caste man forced to prostrate in front of Ambedkar picture as he said something wrong about ambedkar.
The Jai Bhim gag threatened to complain to the authorities which can make the upper caste man lose his job and land him in jail.

Pathetic to say the least.

Why are Dalits forced into toxic sewers?

😢😢😢
Who is forcing? They take up those jobs as they are part of government jobs. No one forces any one to do a job in India. You are confusing India with Pakistan where sewer and gutter jobs are for Dalits only. :mv

Discrimination happens on both sides. But only one side gets reported. :mv
no it doesnt, caste women are way more likely to be raped by the upper caste then vice versa - and yet they dont even get reported.

and yet you couldnt even prove your own usless opinion, typical indian

So much crying over caste system in India where any form of caste based discrimination is criminalized.

Meanwhile Shias in Pak are getting blown into pieces, Ahmedis getting shot in broad daylight and Hindus/christians do poop jobs and other media jobs. :salute

Look up the thread title and read the OP. The intention was to actually explore whether caste system is actually entrenched outside of India but not acknowledged as openly.

You are taking this way too personally, perhaps because it was actually enshrined in Hindu teachings.

Open threat to 3% Brahmin population of India. They are told to watch their back and will be spit on them.
But saaar. Look at India saaar. Dalits are still oppressed saaar.

Dalits and tribals form around 30% of India’s population. They are still scared of 3% population that does not fight. Especially not in independent India.

The only way for Brahmins to exist in the future is to get the hell out of India.

Brahmin aryans shoul leave India, they were outsiders who conquered the shudras and dalits 2000 years ago

‘Dragged by Hair, Beaten With Rods’: Women Attacked in Alleged Caste Clash at Telangana Temple Fair; Infant Killed

A family was allegedly attacked during the Kummera jatara in Telangana’s Nagarkurnool after refusing to pay an entry fee. The accused reportedly used caste slurs, assaulted the women and men, and attacked a two-month-old infant, who later died from injuries. Police complaint has been filed.

A family was allegedly attacked by a group of men in a "caste" clash during the Kummera jatara in Nagarkurnool in Telangana. In the scuffle, a two-month-old baby also died while the women were dragged by their hair and beaten with rods, according to a Times of India report. The argument began when the family refused to pay Rs 100 to enter the temple.
The family members then filed a police complaint, alleging that they were called "lower caste" and even assaulted when they refused to pay, as entry is usually free.

Infant

As one of the women put her infant at the feet of the accused, begging him not to beat her husband, the accused harmed the two-month-old baby, who later died. The infant was then hospitalised; however, she succumbed to her injuries on February 21, three days after the incident.

Women Dragged by Hair, Beaten with Rods

One of the kin alleged that the accused men pulled the women by the hair and threw them in front of the crowd, according to TOI report. "My younger son, Ganesh, was attacked by four people using a metal rod meant for breaking coconuts. As my son tried to defend himself, one person from the opposite group got injured after accidentally hitting the wall," she claimed.

The family further alleged that they were also robbed and their belongings, including gold earrings, silver bangles, and a phone, were taken away. The forensics are conducting a post-mortem examination on the deceased infant, and based on the PME, they will be taking the investigation further.

Threatened Not To Return

The family members alleged that they threatened to harm them if they returned to Kumera village, adding that they were scared to return to their village.
"They threatened to harm us if we returned to Kummera village and to demolish our house," the kin said in her complaint, adding that the family took refuge in Nagarkurnool as they were scared to return to their village.
The police have registered a case under multiple sections, including the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, along with an attempt to murder. They added that a counter case was also filed against Chandrakala's family, based on a complaint by the opposite party.
