The complexities around Nikah over phone/Skype/Zoom/Remotely!

Can someone tell me how a telephone, skype, online or any nikaah through technology works if the two people involved can't be present for a normal wedding?

Surely the Imam joins the call also?

All parties are on the call/link and the Imam says what he would normally say?

Probably best to do it via a video call just in case you get Shoaib Maliked (different girl)

Wait until you the couple are able to meet up. No point getting married & sleeping alone on the first night

There are many disadvantages with engagement and marriage over internet.
You do not really know how a person looks until you see them in real life. A lot of cheating can happen when all you can see is just face. No point in regretting later on. It will be too late.
