You cant use saliva so thier may not be as much swing if he performs he will be garranted a spot in the team for atleast 1 or 2 years but he should defo get 3 matches

If the conditions are seam friendly then I dont think Fawad will play as Pak will go with 4 seamers (Including Faheem) and Shadab most probably. If the wicket is on slightly drier side or is expected to dry up as the game proceeds then Fawad comes into play and he can be a pretty decent 5th bowling option as well with his SLA.

Fawad Alam looking all set for a comeback during practice....

A torch bearer of the Chanderpaul's legacy and preference to have a stance to look at the ball straight from both the eyes.

I think he does have the ability to survive in different kind of conditions as he has shown in domestics, he could have been easily selected in 2010 when new guys like Asad and co were brought in as well. Not to forget he made a century at test level in Srilanka that too while opening the innings just a year ago in 2009.

Not exactly sure what happened, if it was the stance then Pak selectors had to look around the world. What matters is the position of head and body when you play the ball irrespective of how you stand and what you do before the ball is bowled especially when you are scoring runs as well.
