Me.but he should fly back to Pakistan before the start of test series.

I think he should rest for this tour and better improve his keeping while hes free...Hes def gonna make a comeback in the next series.

Believe me, all the Akmal haters would love to have him back. Just imagine Akmal opening the batting. He knows how to take the advantage of the PPs.

The guy is fit and playing in QEA trophy. The only reason he would be playing here and not in UAE would be because he is not cleared to go on the tour yet. Seems like ICC is still working on something regarding him and wants PCB to keep him out until their investigations are over. So no, he will not be flying in anywhere. And if he really is involved in shady activities, then perhaps rightly so.

He is good enough to play as a genuine batsman in LOI especially in the opening role

Anyways, Zulqarnain is destroying the balance of the side.

Which side has someone with no hitting abilities batting for them at number 8?

Normally I would agree... but in this case the balance is SO bad, we need to fly him in....

I hope that Kami is included in the squad and plays in form like he did in England. Zoni should keep in Test series.
 
take it easy man. he ll be back soon but this is not the solution. Suddenly "bring a guy back as a savior" even if he comes and makes a 200 thats not the solution. what are 11 selected players doing?

WE are not happy with anything. first we all were crying to get katmal out of da team and give chance to new keepr n now when haider inshallah will get a chance to play the whole tour so now you want katmal to be back/? i don get it. ZUNI is new to INT cricket. give em sumtime. i think either Zuni or razzak shud open with hafeez cuz asad is a gud middle order player, why spoil him with opening by him.

I would like to give zuni a chance for this whole tour then make comment about him. his stumping of smith was awsome in 20-20. tht was clever n smart stumping. he is a plyer who needs time to settle then get unleashed.

I have never said Kami should be replaced.... just coached to improve his weaknesses....

Its a travesty to throw away all the good someone does becasue they make mistakes....

Its better to play to your strengths..... (and work to improve weaknesses)
 
think we who'd pretend zulqurnain has a broken finger n send him back.

Although Kami isa crap wicketkeepr he does bring balance to the team with his batting. Zoni is decent keeper but a poor batsman. If a wicketkeeper bats in the middle he needs to be improviser like Moin Khan or hitter like Dhoni, he is neither.
 
I heard that the PCB offered the option for Kami to Catch the next flight out to Dubai after the domestic game hes playing.

Sadly Kami dropped the chance as per usual.
 
:))) another thread to show how fickle our fans are, what did Kami do of note all year long other than the odd T20 inning? He has failed again and again, not to mention his keeping. I'm sure if Zulqi got the same chances, he would score runs because atleast he has the temperment/brains to not throw away his wicket.

the only part i agree with is in bold. kamran was our best batsman by far in england odis, where batting is most difficult. not just the 'odd' t20 inning, he fires in more than 50% of his t20 innings.

No-ones being fickle...this isnt a reactionary suggestion...the consensus was we needed Kami for Limited overs cricket...
Zoni deserved the Tests there was no need for him in the ODI's...
 
:kami is a treat to watch.... one of my favourite players....

Those cover drives are so beautiful..... better than anyones....
 
People are suggesting that Kami is injured.... Isnt he playing in the Qaid E Azam trophy?

He really needs to be put on a plane!

Well why Kami, if Zoni is not a good bat and we need a keeper + bat then he can be replaced in one dayers and T20s with Asad as he is a keeper himself and we can substitute him with Umar.

i will not say anything until zoni's statement. look like a perfect plan to throw zoni out and make room for the katmals.

IMO somebody has to SHOW they are better, both from a keeping and batting perspective...

These days you need someone who can do both....

If he is making errors in patches (which he does)... they can be fixed....

If was always making errors - they couldnt be fixed....

Keep Kamran away from the test team, he should be in our ODI and T20 team though.
 
Yea don't need him for tests atm, especially since our batting in tests is getting stronger.

Not in tests no. Kami has proven time and again that one player can make a team lose entire series :P

The two England tours (2006 and 2010) are testimony of this fact
 
What you guys arent realising is that errors can be fixed.... what we are missing out on cant be replaced. There is no-one as capable as him.

Take the last match - we would have gone for it... if we knew the tail wasnt as long as it is....

The above shows he has some batting class. Yes - he has had a bad year BUT form is temporary class is permanent.
I am not saying he is a Mohammed Yousuf - BUT he is brilliant for No 7.

You dont make that much investment in a player and then throw it away.

I'd rather have that in my team than not!

No Pakistani player has scored more T20 runs than Kamran (at a strike rate of 124)
No Pakistani player has scored more T20 50's than Kamran.

Only 6 other players in the world have more T20 runs than Kamran.
