The ICC should be doing all they can to ensure DRS is used in every international cricket match!

Umpires are only human and making the odd mistake is inevitable, umpiring requires a lot of concentration and I can only imagine how difficult it must be in International matches - a lot more pressure on you, scrutiny for mistakes, the sound of the crowds, so they are bound to make a howler.

Shadab Khan, for example, in this match, was given lbw but it looked like the ball was going down leg stump.

If some matches can have DRS, ICC should really play its part in making it mandatory for every international match.

This is Ireland's first Test match, a big occasion for the country and it shouldn't be overshadowed by bad decisions. I understand that it is not cheap, but surely ICC should be doing all they can to protect the game and should at least give some money, or help in some way, shape or form to try and make DRS available for every game.

Its very expensive for smaller boards to install it, hence why in Ireland and Zimbabwe its generally not used.

How much does DRS and speed guns cost? Heard this match cost Ireland about a million € so another few thousand shouldn't have made a difference.

I don't have a clue on the exact figure but I'd imagine you'd be looking at closd to 6 figures or more.

ICC should bear the cost for DRS in every test match and the system should be the same across the globe.

Surprised that there is no DRS. Is it not a requirement these days for tests? Especially since the BCCI is on board now?

Once again, unfair advantage to some teams which use this technology has an effect on the ranking.

ICC should be doing a lot of things but sadly it doesn't have the power to do any of those things which is why it's widely known as an useless organisation.

True, but at least they are progressive unlike FIFA/UEFA.

When there is DRS, not even a single decision is over turned.

When there’s no DRS, half of the decisions are blantly wrong.
