What's new

The impressive Bhanuka Rajapaksa

To help his team from 55-5 to 170/6, that is some temperament and skills. Well played!

Looked so confident and at ease at the crease.

Very impressive cricketer.

First time season him this Asia Cup, very impressive. I like his batting. Great find for SL.

He is a Jayasurya of Middle order.
Today he was lucky. That LBW and 2 catches dropped.

He's a good batsman, who knows his scoring zones and his weakness, to be fair was dropped a couple of times against Pakistan but overall a solid batsman.

Hard to believe he retired from Intl. cricket a while back, only to make a u-turn about a week later.

Why did he retired? Issue with board? Too lazy to check Google..

We don't have anyone remotely as good as him in our middle order. This Rajpaksa guy looks fearless and that's what you need from your T20 batsmen and not what the likes of Rahul offer you.

During the finals, I was shouting from my couch dont give spinners to Rajapaksa at the beginning of his innings, he can tear & eat them for BF, Lunch & Dinner but this so-called international team and their management had no clue on Rajapakshas strenghts, baffling to say the least.

He is a terrific free flowing batsmen that thrives on spinners to begin with and may early on (as most batters) struggle against quality fast bowling.
