Salaam guys hope you are well in sha Allah.

Tonight I had the honour of escorting Younis bhai who we know has retired from international cricket.

After successful tour of West Indies and then a week in London for his Honouring at Lords for his 10k runs he now is on his way back to Karachi with his wife and kids.

He thanks all the support from Pakistanis cricketing fans including Pakpassion

Looks fresh and content. It is always good to see a player bow out on good terms. Whilst Younis had plenty of run-ins during his career, his retirement was quite peaceful which means the door is open for him to return in the future in some non-playing capacity. He has pretty much retired the way he wanted to, except that PCB did not entertain his ambition to captain the team for a while after Misbah.

He leaves a content and happy man.

Wasn't pushed
Didn't have to beg for a farewell match
Left whilst still performing
Left while he was still being selected

that should be the way to go,,look at hafeez .has been leech on our odi and test team and has hamoered the growth of many youngsters,,,,he should have retired by 2015 WC.

He was also mention that he recently gave a interview to Pakpassion which saj took.. Very very humble person

I have my doubts.

Totally agree, am so happy for Younis and can't thank him enough for all he has done for Pakistan. Glad to see him smiling and so at peace with himself; he has been through a fair amount and it's only fitting that he deserved a grand farewell and got to go out the way he wanted in the end.

Some of the praise YK receives for his dramaless retirement somehow reads to me as criticism towards Lala.

Why do people have to put down someone to give credit to another? :(

Yes that's correct.

Agreed a time, did the interview, no messing around.

Still looking fit enough to continue. I guess all good things come to an end. Thank you and enjoy your retirement.

I'm going to head down to Heathrow at some point and take a selfie with moiez_no1
