Seeing us struggle vs Hamish Bennett reminded me of how much we struggled against some of the most mediocre of bowlers. List some of your favourites or any that you remember:

Hamish Bennett is one of them obviously. Here is a guy who Bangladesh had no issue with!

Then there is Paul Harris. Decent spinner but we made him to look so much better than he is.

Ashley Giles in Pakistan.

Corey Collymore....for some reason we made him look unplayable when we toured West Indies. They could probs slect him again and we would struggle.

Who else?

Entire irelnad bowling line up

And don't forget we (Hafeez :)) ) made Steyn look (sorta) like a lulloo in UAE...

Naming Colleymore is a bit harsh..he was pretty good in helpful conditions

yeah i just mentioned this in another thread. I remember even now how our batting made Paul Harris look like a world beater in 2007. and he averages 37 overall even now
same with hauritz

fidel edwards i remember too

and even some indian trundlers like praveen kumar and balaji

unbelievable batting. they never learn. ****ing idiots!

Man no one else even struggled against him. I remember watching him vs England and he was like a medium pacer to them.

Some of the calls in this thread are a little harsh, like Swann and Broad.

I agree with Herath. Decent spinner but against him we could not score :))

Hauritz and North are another good pick. Didn't we also give a five-for to Watson recently in tests?

Irfan Pathan during India's tour of Pakistan 2004. He was good at that time but not so great.

Danial Vettori.. this relates to his batting.. average batsmen, but Pakistan thinks otherwise

Tim Southee today.. lol.. To me he's pretty average..but Pak made him famous

Excellent thread. :)))

Should be a very regularly updated one too. I still think Pakistan have the capicity to make heros out of Franklin yet.

why stop at bowlers ? what about Ryder batting like he is a descendant of Don Bradman . Even Akhtar looked shocked

a bit harsh on collymore - trouble with him he was a yoyo type of a bowler. he was talented.

Nuwan Kulasekara. When we faced his bowling on the 09 tour to SL he was made to look like Courtney Walsh.

I think Pakistan officially made Dilshan a quality opening batsmen.. and also Shane Watson

dont forget Phil Simmons, a lullo turned legend thanks to Pakistan back in 1993.

Southee is offcourse another one to this list. The fact that he is showing his arrogance game after game against Pakistan is pissing me even more. Can't wait to see him in the world cup where he will be smacked all over the parks of Srilanka and India.

No he was not. He was not a wicket taking bowler. I can understand he can restrict batsmen but come on...30 tests, 93 wickets. Yet we couldn't even play him!

Watson, Yuvraj, Sachin . . . . . .

That Sri Lankan spinner who took a 5-for against us (on his debut--never played again) in Sri Lanka tests right after the t20 WC 09.
Southee
Vettori
Bollinger
Chris Martin

That Sri Lankan spinner who took a 5-for in the Sri Lanka Tests against us right after the T20 WC 09 has a name.

and amla. he was struggling before the 2007 series against pakistan. now he's one of the best around

they are not laloos our batsmen are laloss..who give thier wickets..

very entertaining threat. Great headline Amir. I have not laughed so much before on PP

broad and siddle, as batsmen of course

and who can forget Waqar getting phainty from Ajay Jadeja

Waiting for a thread that says "Long list of Lulloo's that have played for Pakistan" :D

why stop at bowlers ? what about Ryder batting like he is a descendant of Don Bradman . Even Akhtar looked shocked

Lol thats funny . Am sure , Akhtar admires both Guptill and Ryder as the best batsmen he has ever bowled to
.

Alastair Cook who still owes us a big thank you after making him a proper batsman in the 2006 series.

If cook was a lullo , he wouldnt have been so successful against the Aussies in Aussies .

A recent lulloo is Robin Peterson. Honestly, this guy has to be one of the worse spinners I have ever seen and yet he has been in and out of the SA team since 2002! I am not even sure if he turns the ball. However, during the recent Dubai series, I think he actually came out with some respectable figures!!!

Historically speaking ... in the making of "Lullooz to Legends", some of our players have made quite good money :)

The best example? Venkatesh Prasad

in return from Indian batsmen? Aquib Javed.

Marcus North surely tops this list.
Guptill i'm sure got his best figures against us last series?

Hauritz
Marcus North
Ryan Harris
Watson - Some might disagree.
Southee - He is an average bowler, the batsmen and the umpires make him look good.

Believe it or not these "lulloos" are playing International Cricket and making bank, while you sit here and create these threads. You say that we make these "lulloos" look good, yet you can't see how bad we can be to making them look good. Surely, there's a reason why they look good because of us, and that is we are the biggest "lulloos" in cricket as of today. :butt

we can add a Saudi to that list now, haha.

nah, he's not that bad a bowler really.

This has to be your best ever Thread on PP :)

Add Peter Such to that list as well!

I don't remember him playing a test against us..

He made his debut in 1993 v Aus and the only time he could've played was 1996 ODIs in England

Peter Such wasn't that bad, he was a simple old-time off-spinner.

Mallender was a horses-for-courses pick at Headingley 92 and I'll never forget how he destroyed us and the Gooch run-out!

no all those bowler had some sort of talent. i felt that bennet bowls good lengths

they are still international bowlers who preformed well against pakistan, thats their life sorted!

I guess we are the lallus in that sense

who can forget the king of Lallus' -- Balaji?

I guess we are the lallus in that sense

Yes, Malik is the king... just look at any Anwaar's post. He was made look a little decent in a few matches... and Anawaar thinks he is a Bradman.
