The new Islamabad Airport - Suggestions for a name

It's interesting that the PPP want to name it after BB, considering​ that her main contribution to PK is increased corruption and AZ. What to people think.
 
Name it Gandhara intl airport to honor Pakistan's heritage. Not everything has to be named after a famous dead person and she already has an airport named after her.
 
Islamabad International is fine. No need for every airport to be named after a person.
 
No need to name it over a personality. Karachi airport is Jinnah International and Lahore is Allama Iqbal International, I cannot think of a third personality that can rival these two in terms of stature. So we should name it Pakistan International or something along those lines.
 
PPP are more concerned about the name of the airport than the people of Thar.

How people support these guys is truly mind boggling.

I would truly appreciate IK if he does that.

Gandhara has a lot of historical importance for many Indians too. That place was mentioned in several places in our epics.
 
The country is nearly bankrupt and the PPP are worried about the name of the airport, while their partners in crime the Nooras along with the PPP never talk about corruption, clean water or education.
 
Should name it after Gandhi. Even though he was against the independence of Pakistan but one should never forget that he was killed when he was about to leave for Pakistan in few days. Would also send chills down the spine of padosis
 
Get a company to buy the naming rights for the airport. Will bring in investment to the country.

Why not? Pakistanis seem to be lacking these days when it comes to naming anything. Still can't get my head around calling the food street in Lahore...Food Street.

How about some heritage? They had better ideas 200 years ago with the Anarkalis and Chandni Chowks,

Nooooooo, for God sake, the guy who was responsible for breakdown of Pakistan and gave us corrupts like Benazir and Zardari, Already sick and tired of these " Shaheeds".
 
If you leave it as Islamabad international airport, if the Nooras get in then they will rename after Babloo and Dabloo. I like the idea of Fatima Jinnah airport

there's already a jinnah airport so it would just confuse people, name it after Imran Khan.
 
Maybe Pakistan could take inspiration from Chicago O'hare and name it after a war hero.

Irrespective of his shortcomings,he is still the best Prime Minister Pakistan has ever had so give the guy some break.To be fair,the airport should never have been named after a janus-faced politician like Benazir who not only plundered Pakistan herself but also brought her maha Badmash husband into Politics.If they are so eager to name it after someone,a man with no haters like Edhi will be a good choice!
