Misbah was also named as the Chairman of Selectors with head coaches of the six first-class Cricket Association sides as his fellow selectors : PCB Release

The other six members of selection committee are (first XI head coaches)

Abdul Rehman (Head Coach)
Ijaz Ahmed Jr. (Head Coach)
Muhammad Wasim (Head Coach)
Kabir Khan (Head Coach)

Good move - that means our selectors will actually watch domestic cricket and will know the players inside out.

Wasim Khan did mention to eliminate bias, they'll only be allowed to provide assessments on opposition players.

In the past, selectors were not bothering to show up to games.
Now obviously coaches are at every game, so its good that they can provide an input. But this can also be bad aswell.

If a player endds up destroying the opposition or sledges them, the coach might end up keeping a grudge against him. This often happens in Pakistan.

ANd many of these people are toxic.

But the final decision is with Misbah so all good.
