The Pakistan Cricket Board has unveiled the seven-member commentary panel for the five T20 Internationals and as many One-Day Internationals to be played between Pakistan and New Zealand from 14 April till 7 May.

Bazid Khan, Grant Elliot, Kyle Mills (T20Is), Lisa Sthalekar (ODIs), Mark Butcher (ODIs), Sikander Bakht and Urooj Mumtaz will call action across the 10 limited overs matches in Lahore, Rawalpindi and Karachi.

Renowned presenter Zainab Abbas will host pre- and post-match shows, including Pitch Side that will continue to bring in-depth analysis for cricket fans.

Twenty-seven full High-Definition cameras will beam live action around the globe through PCB’s broadcast partners. The production set-up includes complete Hawkeye review system, buggy cam and SpiderCam, which is available for three T20Is in Lahore and three ODIs in Karachi.

New Zealand will arrive in Pakistan in the wee hours of 11 April. The two teams will play first three of the five T20Is in Lahore. Rawalpindi will host the last two T20Is and the first two ODIs, before the action moves to the port-city of Karachi, which hosts last three ODIs.

The broadcast of the white-ball series will be available through PTV Sports on Linear TV. The matches will be live-stream on ARY Zap, Vidly.tv, Tamasha and Tapmad within Pakistan and on PCB YouTube Channel outside Pakistan. Etisalat (Middle-East and North Africa), Flow Sports (Caribbean), Sky NZ (New Zealand), Fox Sports (Australia), Sky Sports (United Kingdom), Sony (South Asia outside Pakistan), Super Sports (Sub-Saharan Africa) and Willow TV (North America) will broadcast matches internationally.

FM 106.2 (Pakistan) will be radio partner for the series.

How can PCB expect to recoup money from this tour? What sort of ratings will broadcasters get?

They’re showing the IPL on sky sports…how do I watch the match? Nothing on the red button

For those trying to watch the Pakistan v New Zealand match on Sky. There is a problem with Match Choice at the moment. Their technicians are looking into the issue.

IPL is on 2 channels on Sky yet Pakistan v New Zealand is on the red button !

This is a bit ridiculous. We are all paying for content we aren’t receiving! I hope they sort it soon.

Exactly!! Seems a little unfair and plus there must be some sort of compo with the PCB has SKY is failing to show the match!

It's working now on the red button but this is ridiculous!

A formal complaint has gone in from my side

Horrible picture quality it seems on the red button though.

Red Button is never HD/UHD. It's SD quality. It's like watching The football WC on ITV4 :))

Also you can't watch it on the app even though you pay for the subscription....

Also you can watch red button only if you have Sky connection. But (as in my case) I have BT TV with full Sky Sports package via Now TV. We don't get red button option.

I know. I have friends in same boat as you.
I don't understand why IPL should be on two channels...
You only need to have it on one...

I am holding on to speak with someone and when I do I will have words, demand a rebate and to get at least one of the channels to show it live, without having to press any buttons

Asked my contact at Sky about why IPL is on 2 channels:

He says - Because the channels are sold separately and wholesale to Bt Virgin etc.

Technically IPL is not on 2 channels though. It is on Sky Sports cricket channel and their main event channel. Main event channel always telecast the prime sports going at that time like Premier League, IPL, English cricket etc. That is because many viewers of other service provider only take Sky Sports Main Event as extra channel. So its the obligation from Sky to show the premium sport on their main event channel.

Preference of premium sport in following order:
1. Premier League Football
2. English cricket
3. IPL/Other international cricket
4. County cricket
5. Other Sports

That is why Eng vs Pak test series was going on, it was also on both their cricket and main event channel and Ind vs SL was moved to Sky Mix. That is why I was wondering why they are not showing Pak vs NZ in their mix channel? That is weird.
