An adaptation of Stephen Kings second last novel The Outsider by Jason Bateman (getting better and better as a director/producer/actor) and the vastly under rated Ben Mendelsohn.
They released the first two episodes as the pilot and the third was released yesterday. I unexpectedly binged watched all 3 episodes and I must say I haven't been this hooked to a series since True Detective (season 1) and Mindhunter (both seasons).
I usually watch a series once all episodes have dropped but just gave this a shot because there wasn't anything else better that I could find and now I cannot decide whether I should continue watching it weekly or wait for the whole series to come out as I usually don't have the patience to wait a whole week.
Either way I hope it continues on its trajectory as there have been quite a few series that started off brilliantly of late but later fizzled out.
One exception though is Watchmen which started off with a lukewarm beginning but has grown in leaps and bounds with each passing episode.
