Peshawar is from nowhere a small city. However, it doing well is because people from KPK have suddenly taken up cricket to a great extent because of people like Younis, Afridi and Shah. Pathans are hard workers who have a lot of strength so I would expect them to keep winning in the future.

1. "Relatively" small compared to Karachi, Lahore etc
2. Lets select 11 Pathans to the team and get it over with I suppose. But based on your theory of strength West Indies should annihilate everybody else in Cricket?

I think its mostly to do with the coach of Peshawar. I forget his name.. fazal rahman something.. his approach is very systemic where all of these lesser known players know their role in the team. None of the players are that good individually but as a unit they work well.

Peshware have fail to produce international level player from long long time which is harsh reality .while they win dozen numbers of title it doesnot benefit pakistan cricket in any way
