Ideally should be batting at 6 on form. Still very early days, but if his attitude stays like this, he will be a great all rounder for Pakistan. The only player I can say I have confidence in becoming a world class player.

Not the right mentally that, should be focusing on both. If he thinks his bowling is not up to test standard, and that batting will help more then focus on it to prolong your career. We potentially have very good batsman on our hands, don't want to waste his batting talent.

Well said. Mickey Arthur needs to remind him that his potential lies more with the bat and it would be for the greater good of Pakistan cricket if his batsmanship exceeding his leg spin bowling abilities, as Pakistan has shortage of the former but will continue to produce quality wrist spinners for many more years to come.

Interested how he is talking bowling long spells and how it was an experience for him to play first class games. He needs to play more to improve with the ball.

His batting has improved a lot in the last few months.

I'm in love with this kid!!
Has a way to go with the ball but spinners hit peak late 20s.
Imagine if he did focus on batting.
I would leave him at 7 in this game where he will hopefully come in when we have a lead and work us to something defendable
