I know Indian media is for the most part a lying machine with no boundaries or sense of shame. However recently i came across some form of Indian Media or analyst who demonstrated the ability to remain unbiased and asked critical questions. It must be difficult to be the voice of critic in a nation like India where everyone is looking to gain popularity by cheering on the status quo.

These are the discussions i watched yesterday and enjoyed throughly as at some parts they were even better than "analysts" on pak media. I dont know whether this is just a youtube channel or wheter they atcually have any media presence in India, either wqy they deserve more exposure.

I dont know how popular he is in India but I have watched multiple episodes of the program 'Prime Time with Ravish Kumar' and the anchor is very unbiased. Also worth listening in today's episode is an interview of a retired Indian airforce officer. Very sensible and no shouting.

Let's be realistic

Pakistan wants peace, Modi wants to prove to his country that he can and will isloate Pakistan. Ever since he’s become the prime minister, Pakistan is constantly trying to get on with them but they feel they are better off without us. Lets stop trying to develop a one sided friendship, accept the facts, wait for Indian elections to finish, see what kind of government India sets up after election and take it from there. Until then, lets use our armed forces against the alleged terrorists, cross examine guys like Masood Azhar (not because India wants us to do it but because we want to find out the reason why India is blaming someone from our soil). Every tree has bad apples and few bad apples can make the tree look bad. Lets use our armed forces to throw those bad apples out. Lets stop wasting our energy in order to fight a meaningless war because it’s only strengthening terrorists living in India/Pakistan and we’re feeding their purpose.

Modi isn't the only Indian that doesn't want peace with Pakistan, he only came to power in 2014 but India had already burnt all bridges with Pakistan in 2008. I feel like Pakistanis have a short memory and are actually doing Indian nationalists a favor by making it seem like all things bad with India is because of one man.

Learn from the past, look to the future but live in the present. As I was saying, Modi wants to isolate Pakistan.

Indian Hindus are generally very intelligent, secular minded who tend to use rationale.

There is obviously a patriotic nature to them but have accepted Pakistan and are generally cordial.

Modi taps in to the Hindu equivalent of Salafism; a pseudo religious movement that seeks a populist vote and then inhibits its own people once in power.

Pakistan has won this exchange. It's just a shame the world hasn't recognised this as if it were chess, it has been won by Pakistan simply allowing the opponent to make a stupid error by being too brash.

Imran Khan has already proven his worth as a leader. Jiyo Pakistan, Rooh-e-Iqbal, Jaan-e-Qaid, Dushman ho dhoor aur Azam rahe Wazeer.

I think we shouldn't say all Indian's or this or all Pakistani's are that. There are good and bad people in both places but holistically we want peace, especially in the general public.

Many of my closest friends are Indian and just worried about one anothers families at home to be safe.

Unfortunately leaders have made so much conflict stemming from British rule and respect did not prevail.

Very popular amongst the sane Indians ie the non Bhakts.
He is the one of the few Indian journalist that are unbiased and fearless.
He used to be on twitter but was driven off by the abusive BJP supporters.

Quite popular. When Congress were in power he was routinely lauded by the BJP for his unbiased views despite working for the fairly pro-Congress, pro-liberal NDTV. Over the last few years though, he's faced multiple death threats from the BJP and their allies, some of which have been quite serious and led to arrests.

all those who dont get respect in their country will be joining in hordes so that they get praised by Pakistanis for being sane (aka anti national traitors).

The ndtv broadcast for the most part has challenged the modi government for their handling of this situation. They support the efforts of the army naturally but voice of dissent had never been an issue in India. Indians disagree just about on everything with each other. I don't know where the OP gets the idea that indians are always unified. It's almost never the case.

Nothing to be proud of. There must be a national opinion on important matters like religion and politics and we must repeat it in chorus. we can have different opinions for small matters.

I don't know. I rather have some dissent on one side with a bunch of crazies on both sides with itchy trigger fingers on nukes. Imran already seems to have given up cuz he seemed to be saying in his last podcast that you indians take it up a notch I have no idea what my crazies are gonna do next.

Good to know. And if I remember correctly you had recommended his program to me in one of your old posts so thank you.

Man it is so pathetic and sad to see some Indians on Facebook and media parading that they have Pakistan on its knees and thus we are "pressured" to hand back Abhinandan.

Pakistan has been the elder brother in this whole saga thus far, putting up with the badtameezi to a certain extent, then delivering a tight chamat when the kid got too out of hand. But the kid turns out to be a dheet and is back to his mischievous ways.

I guess let them believe what they want to believe. Pakistan's duty was to protect its sovereignty and uphold peace in the region, and it took steps towards both.
