"We are ranked 6th at the moment in Tests and we need to get that [ranking] down "
"We've set ourselves some realistic goals with South Africa 2019 our ultimate goal"
"This is the nature of cricket; You say farewell to two legends of the game but in the next training session we have new people"
"It would be unfair on the 2 new batsmen we are bringing to the team to say that they are replacements for the two legends"
"Its incumbent upon Azhar Ali, Asad Shafiq and to a lesser extent Babar Azam to stand up and score the bulk of the runs now"
"If we are looking at the 2 new batsmen as replacements then we are wrong as the true replacements for Misbah/YK are Azhar Ali, Asad Shafiq and Babar Azam who will need to step up for us"
"We put injections into Azhar Ali and he is moving freely"
"We will have to monitor Azhar has he has a long term problem with his knee"
"Yasir Shah got to the right standard of fitness, albeit at the death but we make no compromises on the standards"
