Surely this is it for him?

I think he's been absolutely appalling since his poor show vs SA. He simply doesn't learn. He can't swing the ball and thinks bowling the same line-length deliveries will get him wickets.

You'll get a game here and there where the batsmen gift their wickets, but he rarely, if at all, takes wickets by out-thinking the batsmen.

Time to bring in other players, I feel.

He's not a terrible bowler but he has the composure of a 7 year old.

The ill-timed no balls mean that he cannot be trusted.

His bowling stats so far at the PSL:

16-0-160-4

He is awful. No skill, no bowling intelligence.

A serial bottler who should never have played as many matches as he did for Pakistan.

He only has a future in ODIs, and should restrict himself to that format.

However, even in ODIs, he should be behind the likes of Junaid, and even Rauf/Musa/Hasnain now in the pecking order.

Needs a break.

Shame really because he looked pretty promising during the BBL and was clocked in the high 140's consistently. Needs to go back to the drawing board but it's looking hard for him to make it into the WC squad.

If Mickey Arthur read the title he might kill you bcoz Shinwari bowls extremely well in the NETS :))

Moreover, there is nothing much wrong with his bowling, last time he mistakenly bowled around the wicket when he was required to bowl over the wicket, similarly this time he mistakenly bowled over the wicket. I think in the next match he needs to bowl under the wicket rest is all fine :))

Not long ago, he was bowling very well and he was the apple of every Pak fans eye. Now he should be kicked out of the team.

He is a very good bowler going through a lean period. He may comeback well in the next few games in PSL itself. Every bowler goes through this phase.

When I watch him he has the appearance of a good bowler, runs in hard and you expect so much more from him.

He reminds me of a left-arm version of Mohammad Sami at his worst. A decent ball, a couple of bad balls, a no-ball or two, a wide and then a couple of awful balls.

I don't actually think he looks at his field or thinks about where he needs to bowl.

Called him out after the SA tour, the guy is a limited slinger, puts 100% effort into bowling at full speed, yet still can't generate as much pace as a 35yr old Sami.

I was more excited by the amount of swing he got during his debut, he needs to get that back, that is what made him lethal. But he has always been a boom or bust operator, someone who will either run through a side or go for plenty. Whenever he has performed, Pakistan has won games but lol whenever he has been trashed he has cost them big time as well. Tough decision for the Team Management

Damn I'm disappointed as I thought he would be a really good bowler for us. Shame he seems to be letting us all down. He's falling down the pecking order.

I personally never rated him too high. He was decent at the start, nothing earth shattering, but he has really fallen.

don't know what mickey has seen in him...
he will do a lot of harm if he played for pakistan in world cup
