Tired of Indians and their abuse on social media

Very disgraceful and makes one ashamed of any shared history and lineage with these hateful and vengeful bigots. Its good that as indian muslims our forefathers were able to break free from this spiral of hate and animosity.

Some of these hindu extremist trolls are really messed up in their heads. I ve met very reasonable and nice hindus too but such an overwhelming majority of these hateful trolls makes you think that the vast majority of hindus are the hateful trolls.

Not posting the image here just cause some of the comments are really disgusting but here is the link to some of the comments.

Can't say I am surprised. Indians have posted similar and worse things when terrorist attacks used to happen frequently in Pakistan and when that PIA plane crashed in Karachi last year. One could post similar things about India but there's no point of value in stopping to those levels.

Very hateful posts by some idiot trolls. Totally unwarranted and those accounts must be banned.

may please add "some" before the bold word. Idiots exists uniformly all over the world.

With some 800 million Indian's online it is natural for hidden faces to spew venom. I guarantee that most of such coward Indians would dare not do this in front of Pakistanis. Try it then and it'll be a different ball game:inzi2

They should put all abusing Indians and Pakistanis in a stadium and decide who wins.

Not surprised to see India at the top because our people are not secular and tolerant anymore but what are Pakistan and UAE doing in this list? Even though it is a small percentage of tweets but still surprising to see these two countries there. :murali :inti

Pakistan has increasing undercover population of agnostics /atheists or in general secular people , same with UAE.

Pakistan has increasing undercover population of agnostics /atheists or in general secular people , same with UAE.

Indians are bumping up the UAE's numbers considerably due to them having a large diaspora there. Less than 1% of anti-Muslim posts originate from Pakistan according to this study which makes sense considering Pakistan's population.

The question that needs to be asked is what makes Indians so anti-Muslim? The answer to that question is their obsession with Pakistan. Go to any Pakistan-related content on the internet be it sports, dramas, movies, music, food, culture, history, news, etc you'll find Indians obsessively invading that content. Sometimes it's because they can't let go of the past(the partition), other times it's due to an inferiority complex, and most times it's a combination of the two. A lot of Indians blame Muslims as a whole for the partition. Just look at the suffering Kashmiris have to go through because of the mindset of Indians towards Muslims.

Although I must admit there's a minority of Indians that invade Pakistani content because they genuinely enjoy the content. Coke Studio and Pakistani dramas would be prime examples of this. Even these types of Indians get annoying real quick when they start saying stuff like "Divided by borders united by "Insert random thing"", "The British drew a border.:((".

Pakistan and Pakistanis are unfortunate to have the most populated country on earth be obsessed with them. The worst part of it is Kashmir has to suffer the consequences of India's obsession.

Interesting article from the independent, british / indian muslim women talking about british indians have a racism problem:

I was recently sent a WhatsApp clip of a street vendor in India, dressed in a manner that suggested he was Muslim, apparently spitting into food containers. The clip was clearly doctored and shared in the name of “raising awareness”. But in fact it was intended to stir up more hatred against India’s Muslims – not just there, but among Hindus here in Britain.

I come from a family of immigrants – my parents came to the UK from India and we all experienced racism, particularly in the early days. Yet despite this, I am heartbroken by how much racism I am seeing from British Hindus today, directed at Muslims and stirred up by India’s extreme right-wing government.

Since the election of the BJP government in 2014, Hindu fundamentalism has been growing in India. Legislative changes from the top, with the judiciary and mainstream media capitulating to this agenda, are turning India from a secular country to one that puts “Hindu” first.

In 2019, the BJP passed the Citizenship Amendment Act, providing Indian citizenship to refugees from Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Pakistan – but specifically excluding Muslims. Muslim girls who wear the hijab are increasingly excluded from schools. There are frequent reports of lynchings of Muslims for (allegedly) killing cows. Day-to-day life for religious minorities, particularly Muslims and lower-caste Hindus, is becoming harder.

As a child, I experienced direct and pretty brutal racism – from name-calling to pushing and occasional violence. Teachers were reluctant to do anything about it and I was usually told “sticks and stones”. This was against a background of casual racism on TV and in the rest of the media. Even as a child, I knew that the playground taunts and brutalities I faced came about because of the culture in which we lived – everything around us told us it was ok to be nasty to Indians.

Sadly, now I belong to a group that is itself perpetuating racism. Hindus have become more used to using “Indian” and “Hindu”, with a deeper feeling that only Hindus are the “true” Indians. I see normally kind and mild-mannered people in my community becoming callous when speaking about Muslims. Such anti-Muslim sentiments are then turbo-charged through social media with sharing of (fake) stories on WhatsApp.

I live in a country where elections for the leader of the ruling party include a Hindu, a credible candidate not defined by his race or religion. Yet the country from which my parents emigrated is one where minorities who have been there for many hundreds of years are increasingly denied the right to exist.

British Hindus should ask how we would feel if we were treated the way Muslims in India increasingly are. The moral case for Hindus in the UK to speak out against anti-Muslim prejudice is staring us in the face.

‘Suicidal thoughts strike every day’: India’s sextortion scourge
Sexual blackmail schemes are spreading from the upper echelons of Indian society to the poor and working class.

Bikaner and Sidhi, India – Shyam, a truck driver in northern India’s city of Prayagraj, had not had sex with his pregnant wife for six months when he saw an advertisement on the Telegram messaging app promising to make his fantasies come true.

Shyam, 44, was impressed by the ad’s formal tone and eagerly followed a link to a pink-themed website, where he was asked to pay a registration fee of 4,000 Indian rupees ($48.28).

Shyam made the payment at his local bank and returned home excitedly to access the website, only to be asked to pay an additional 6,000 rupees ($72.44) for every session of cyber-sex. He paid the sum and was told to wait for a video call during the next 24 hours.

A few hours later, Shyam received a video call from an unknown number. Removing his shirt, Shyam stood in front of his phone’s camera and answered. After a few seconds, a naked young woman touching herself appeared on the screen. Then the call was cut short.

As Shyam tried to figure out what had happened, he received a WhatsApp message from the same number along with a recording of the video call. The message came with a threat: Deposit 15,000 rupees ($181) to this bank account within 24 hours or this video will go viral.

India refuses to let go of its well-earned "worst media in the world" trophy. I can't blame the media houses because it's not like they can control what the average Indian likes to consume. If there wasn't an apatite for fake news in India their news outlets would have some standards.

Blame the consumer.

There is no point in singling out Indians as it happens from every nationality. Internet is a funny world and people from all nations spread fake news.

Didn't Nasser Hussain openly asked Pakistani fan to stop spreading fake news about him after India beat Pak in T20 WC 2022?

India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Bangladesh - The quartet of unbearable comments on cricket posts on Social Media. Pakistan and Bangladeshi fans used to clash a lot as well but things have softened up for some reason with Afghanistan's rise as a cricket team.

That's a tweet from a random Twitter user. Indians take it a step further and report fake news through almost all their major news outlets. The fact you can't tell the difference between the two is not surprising.

Title of the thread - 'Tired of Indians abuse in Social Media'. I just quoted one (of many) such abuse/fake news from Pakistani social media handles. There is nothing random about it but of course you (as always) see it from green prism.

Read the poster above, there are internet trolls from every sub continent fan base.

Sorry for expecting Indian journalists to be more than mere online trolls.

Indian media produces troll-like content because its customers are trolls. What else is the purpose of a fake news title like "Simon Doull reveals mental torture in Pakistan: Couldn't go out as Babar Azam fans were waiting for me"? Clearly, the target audience for this news is Indians and thus it reflects what Indians like to consume.

I'm not surprised at all even as someone that isn't well-versed in Indian politics outside of their anti-Pakistan propaganda.

Indians are ahead when it comes to fake news and abusing people on internet when the going gets tough. This has increased a lot during the last few years. :inti

I am just curious as to why Indian cyber presence targets Pakistani websites and forums? You go to any Pakistani related social media or just media website/app/content and you can bet your bottom dollar there are Indian trolls present to either review bomb it, or simply there to give thumbs down or hurl abuse and to stir crap up.

We all see that trend here too. I would dare say 85% of Indians here are just to troll or stir crap. Indian infatuation with all things Pakistani is just limitless. We seem to live rent free in their heads.

Social media gives Indians the combative nature you would never see in real life. On twitter they can all be dishum dishum heroes instead of veggie eating pacifists.

The vegetarian pacifists are pacifists in real life but hey mock the genuine peaceful people by putting them in the same bracket as the violent ones.

Big difference between an unknown individual and large media houses spreading fake news.

HUGE difference.

When media houses in India exist to look for issues with Pakistan then that is a problem

The vegetarian pacifists are pacifists in real life but hey mock the genuine peaceful people by putting them in the same bracket as the violent ones.

They are the genuine 15% but I know plenty of them in real life as well and I know they are not truly pacifists. Hatred of Pakistan runs deep. It’s actually on both sides but those of us who move overseas, gradually establish friendships with Indians and learn to be more cordial. That formula doesn’t truly apply on NRIs though.

There is a rule of thumb that we can abide by that has never been proven wrong thus far.

That is, if some news about Pakistan is only reported in India media, or largely only reported in India media, you can assume it's fake. This rule of thumb has a 100% success rate. Whenever an Indian gives me a link from Indian media about Pakistan, I ask them for a link from non-Indian source.

Sometimes non Indian sources get duped by ANI and the likes to report fake news (recall an Arab website running reporting from ANI that Pakistan was blacklisted at FATF). So you have to be careful when you just have a few non Indian source as well.

Actions speak louder than words. They say they don't care about Pakistan and whatnot. But that completely defeats what we see in reality with their endless obsession with Pakistan.

Now Harry Brook complaining about Indian Social Media...

"You go on social media and people are calling you rubbish. There's a lot of Indian fans out there who'll say well done tonight. But they were slagging me off a few days ago. Glad I could shut them up to be honest"

harry brook is quality, and after abt 3 games in the IPL all comments related to him were slagging him off, and the quality of the PSL lol, of course indian fans will tell u they dont care abt the PSL, lol. best to just ignore them tbh.

With respect but this is not something exclusive to Indian fans, players gets criticized in social media everywhere. That is the point I am making that it is wrong to generalize Indian fans alone. Go to any premier league football pages and see the abuse players/clubs get. For example, when Chelsea lost to Real Madrid last night, Chelsea FC and its players were being humiliated in their twitter page. Not only that, English fans even boo national anthem of opposition team. Brook, from England himself, should know this that as a public figure he will get criticism from fans.

True however this abuse was directed at him because he played PSL. Other players in the IPL aren't getting abused like this. Whenever there's a Pakistani element, Indian social media goes nuts in their criticism.

Yes, that ANI. It was around 2018 or 2019 that Pakistan had got blacklisted by FATF. I didn't see anyone else reporting it so it seemed like fake news. Then an Arab website picked it up from ANI (they were referencing ANI). In the end it turned out to be fake news on all fronts.

can you link that video or any other similarly outrageous and blatantly false news coverage on that channel ?

I honestly don't want to go dig up news articles from 4 years ago, articles that are likely now deleted because they were fake news. I did come across this article on dawn, although it doesn't mention ANI explicitly. https://www.dawn.com/news/1501207

If you don't want to believe me, that's fine. I am not here to convince everyone.

What Harry Brook gets is not 10% of what people like Virat, Babar, Rohit etc get from their country/ across the border.

Unless he was getting threats/ inappropriate personal comments he is over-reacting.

Given he has a big future, I feel this is only the start of more trolling. Hope he focuses on cricket rather than getting riled up by social media trolls.

If there was a World Cup for social media trolling, abuse India would win by a mile.

Indians should learn from Chinese.

Indians should keep their abuses within their own echo chambers.

In what context you are saying this? Can you elaborate it more...so that I can try to shed some light?

By other sites do you mean social media like twitter or facebook? If yes, your point is moot bcoz there are trolls from every nation. Just visit the ICC's page in facebook and you will find majority are Bangladeshi's commenting randomly.

However, if your indication is towards moderated site like this, I don't see anyone is abusing. It appears to me just bcoz you lost the debate badly in Mughal glorification thread, you are simply whinning and want to silence voices of Indians :rabada

I'm also sick to the core of Indian fan abuse. I've stopped opening the comments to all Pakistan related news. They are always there trying to act smart saying things like "Paisa Shortage League", "keep begging from IMF" and other negative things.

Yet their own country is the laughing stock of the world.

About two-thirds of mosques in Xinjiang have been damaged or destroyed since 2017, according to an Australian think-tank report. :ROFLMAO:

They just want to vent out some frustration online, all good as long as they are not hurting others and acting creepy.
