Most of the gun ODI players, not surprisingly are in the Top 3 of each team. Undoubtedly the top scorers in the 2019 World Cup will be dominated by these players. But who do you think will be the Top 3 scorers among middle order batsmen? Middle order players from teams with weaker top order will probably stand the best chance (read Bangladesh, West Indies and maybe even South Africa and Pakistan). My picks though would be Jos Butler, Mahmudullah and David Miller.

Here is a list of potential middle order batsment (not in any particular order, not exhaustive and some may not even utlimately make it to their respective WC squads)

Eoin Morgan
Moeen Ali
Jonny Bairstow
Jos Butler
David Miller
Faf du Plessis
Ambati Rayudu
MS Dhoni
Mushfiqur Rahim
Mahmudullah
Mohammad Hafeez
Shoaib Malik
Sarfraz Ahmed
Shaun Marsh
Travis Head
Marcus Stoinis
Andre Russel
Pollard
Ross Taylor
Henry Nicholls
Tom Latham
Kusal Perera
Dhananjaya de Silva

Bairstow plays as an opener

Mine would be:

Haris Sohail
Ross Taylor
Jos Butter

I must say though that this is a rather sad list of players. Hardly any superstars. Contrast this with the 2011 WC, where you had to choose between: ABD, M Clarke, M Hussey, Afridi, Misbah, Yuvraj, Raina, Jayawardene, Duminy etc.

Taylor
Butter(probably one with higher SR than one of leading run-scorer)
Morgan
Markram(any one?)
Any Indian?

For Pakistan, I think whatever they will score should come from Babar and Fakhar else it is not good for them.

Actually, a top middle order can't be someone who scores most runs only but here the Strike Rate plays an important part as well.

Spot on, top 3 get a lot of glory andh onestly these days, they are the positions of some of the best batsmen in the LO format.

I wouldn't include someone like Pollard or Russel as middle order batsmen, arent they normally lower than 6?

I think Buttler may be the stand out with Malik having a few key knocks. Beyond that, how many batsmen will be consistent enough in those positions?
