If so, all those seats should be contested in by-elections.

Tories have broken major manifesto pledges on keeping Britain in the Single Market and not increasing National Insurance so they won on a false prospectus. Theresa May has never been elected by the General Public or the Tory Party membership. Scotland voted no to Brexit. There are huge question marks over the democratic legitmacy and the mandate May/Tories have. That quite apart from fact they won a majority in the House based on only getting 24% of the electorate to vote for them. They are only kept in power because of a conspiracy of silence from the right wing/State media in this Country who are all Tory/Blairite and thus fear a General Election because they know Corbyn as an anti-Establishment figure stands a very good chance of winning.

Politicians lied? Blimey @s28, whatever next.

I think you'll find that Mrs May is Tory Leader according to their peculiar constitution.

If there was a GE tomorrow Labour would lose fifty MPs and the Tories would be reinforced. All I can think is that Mrs May is scared of losing a few Remain Tory constituencies to the LDs, like in Richmond. But that would not hurt her much. The SNP rule Scotland and want to quit the Union, LDs have a leader who is not making a dent in public perception and UKIP will probable collapse under their own ineptness soon. There is just no real resistance to the Tories. It's a pickle for progressives of any shade.

Conservative MP Craig Mackinlay interviewed under caution over election expenses in South Thanet

Conservative MP Craig Mackinlay was questioned by Police under caution last week over his election expenses, the Telegraph can reveal.

The South Thanet MP reportedly spent six hours being interviewed by officers over alleged overspending in the 2015 election campaign in which he beat Nigel Farage and Al Murray, the Pub Landlord.

Kent Police are expected to meet with the Crown Prosecution Service next week to discuss a possible prosecution, it is understood, after the force concluded a series of interviews with Conservative staff and politicians about the alleged overspend.

Both Mr MacKinlay and his agent Nathan Gray have denied any wrongdoing.

even the BBC the State broadcaster starting to mention this now

It isn't a state braoadcaster. Most Tories I know say it has a left bias. By and large it toes the establishment line due to pressure from the government of the day.

Could be twenty constituencies affected..... nobody charged yet.

A fraudulent Government plain and simple
