For those not familiar - TPG UK is a famous travel blogger in the West who review various airlines and hotels and one of their editors had the chance to review PIA's Executive Economy class from Lahore (LHE) to London (LHR).

Details are below in the link but unfortunately - this flight received overwhelmingly negative reviews due to too much security at Lahore Airport, a poor PIA lounge, poor boarding process, average food, no functioning entertainment system and no WiFi, very old and dirty seats and poor service.

Really hope PTI can invest in PIA to really turn it around...

No surprises there honestly. PIA has fallen to rock bottom and from being the #1 airline in the world. The only solution perhaps is the privatization. Dump the old aircraft and get few new ones. Hire fresh looking hostesses and train them in service like Emirates. Bring back the Pierre Cardin uniform. Catering needs improvement too

PIA was never the number one airline in the world,

Back then airlines wernt so competitive in a free market.
Good times for PIA till the 90's.

It seems we have stagnated in every field since the 60s. Disappointed, read the whole article and it seems what really got him was the attitude of the flight attendents. I was thinking about taking pia but Im gonna think again.

I flew PIA recently and my observations:
1. Planes are older than most Airlines (even have ash tray compartments in places)
2. The Entertainment screen are mostly out of order. Reading lights etc dont work. Seems like no maintenance money is spent on these ‘unnecessary things’.
3. Most worryingly the air cabin pressure systems were outdated as well. Sporadic AC/temp up n down and at higher altitude lack of oxygen (that you can clearly feel while breathing)

On a positive side:
1. Leg space more generous than other airlines
2. In flight meals were of good standard
3. Staff was friendly and courteous
4. The luggage allowance was double that of other airlines

Many including myself have stopped flying with this poor and shoddy Airline.
PIA's abbreviation has taken on a new definition.
PIA= Pain in the A**E

Utter rubbish...

These people have no idea what a good flight is.
