I thought this was pretty important..despite slipping under MSM's radar somehow. Posting highlights, read more on the link:

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Jewish donors gathered Thursday had two demands of the Republican presidential candidates who'd come to speak to them: unambiguous support for Israel and respect.

Billionaire businessman Donald Trump seemed to fail at both.

The party's 2016 front-runner openly questioned Israel's commitment to the Mideast peace process in his remarks to the Republican Jewish Coalition, echoing comments he made the night before in an interview with The Associated Press. He drew boos after refusing to endorse Jerusalem as the nation's undivided capital.
And he suggested to the influential group simply wanted to install a puppet in the White House.

"You're not going to support me even though you know I'm the best thing that could happen to Israel," Trump said. "I know why you're not going to support me — because I don't want your money. You want to control your own politician."

It was an extraordinary speech to a group used to deferential treatment. And Trump's comments on Israel — particularly the billionaire businessman's repeated questioning of its commitment to making a peace deal with the Palestinians — sparked an aggressive backlash from his Republican rivals.

"Some in our own party — in the news today — have actually questioned Israel's commitment to peace," Florida Sen. Marco Rubio told the crowd. "Some in our own party actually call for more sacrifice from the Israeli people. They are dead wrong, and they don't understand the enduring bond between Israel and America."

Trump certainly breaking some boundaries there.. :murali:danish

As much as I dont like him. One thing is true about trump he has not been bought by anyone nor has he sold himself to any group for money so can and will say what ever the hell he thinks. And with the ratings he generates the media can't ignore him so he gets free publicity. All his Republican opponents have spent millions compared to 2-300k by trump for marketing.

Campaign contributions is just one part of how candidates are bought.

They are also bought in return for political support. The Israeli lobby has significant influence within the American political climate (especially among GOP).

If Trump somehow does win, he will also need to keep up approval ratings. He can't go anti-zionist because that hurt will his approval ratings and his chance for a second term.

He can however, go extremely anti-Islam and his ratings will actually go up in his target constituency.

So most likely if he does win, his tune will change and he will be the same as George Bush or any other Republican president.
