Nature of Pitches

The nature of pitches is slow, low bounce and ball stopping sometimes. UAE Pitches neither help Batsmen nor fast bowlers but only spinners due to its nature.

Result of Such Pitches

As a result we usually witness Low scoring and dull matches in UAE. This lead to Saeed Ajmal, Hafeez and Afridi as our match winners and none of our fast bowler excel.

Effect on Pakistani Team

It seriously dent the mentality of Pakistani team and captain, which usually interested to win current match despite team building. Our batsmen are so used to playing 225-250 runs matches that they forget to make high scores. Our fast bowlers become containers there.

Whats Next?

We cannot prepare England or Aussie like Pitch in UAE but atleast prepare bouncy and full of runs pitch so Pakistan can play high scoring matches to transform our batsmen and something for fast bowlers with bounce.

Azar Mehmood mentioned that in UAE you can get any type of pitch. They have different types of pitches available i.e. Australian, English ones though a bit more expensive. It's definitely worth spending more if we care about our future. But PCB is only interested in short term gains and opts more cheap pitches.

You're being predictably unreasonable like always. As mentioned by another poster, UAE has the ability to produce whichever kind of pitches the home team desires. If we want a grassy track that assists pace bowling in a Test match, then it should have no bearing as to what the UAE national team wants as they won't be playing in the night in the same stadium. We will pay for the preparation of these pitches ourselves.

Don't agree.
Except for the a Brisbane pitch, the Australian and NZ wickets were mostly batting havens in the WC. The high scoring games proved it several times. There was nothing for spinners either.

Pakistan's failure was NOT due to fast bouncy and tough pitches, it's the weak quality of batting.
