Ended up as 5-2 to Liverpool. Bigger comebacks have been achieved however realistically it is looking like Liverpool in the final.

Awful to concede two late goals like we did. Add to that the Lovren and Mane misses I would say it is 70% in Liverpool's favour. Thankfully, they also hit the bar due to poor goal keeping before Liverpool suddenly came alive. Lovren again had a lapse in concentration allowing Dzeko to get their first. Our front three again rose to the occasion with Salah in particular tormenting his former side, what a player! I am confident yet not over confident, still feel we need and away goal seeing Roma did score three against Barca at home in the quarters.

Liverpool big favourites in my view to win the Trophy

I would still say Real are favourites. Bayern can't be dismissed either. L'pool's problem is the midfield where we have many injuries. Most likely Can, Ox and Lallana are all possibly out for the season, these are massive losses to contend with in a possible Champions League final.

Bayern Munich becoming the bridesmaids these days.

Looks all set for Ronaldo versus Salah in the final.

Both ties are still open but yes looks this way now. Excellent performance by Real to win away tonight.

As a LFC fan, I would rather face Bayern but Real have many flaws which the Liverpool front 3 can exploit.

Bayern were undefeated at home in all comps since Heynckes' return, and if I'm not mistaken it was his first home defeat in Europe, so absolutely great result. It's really impressive how mature madrid become over the past years to get a result even in the worst circumstances

Good away result for madrid but this tie is far from over.Jupp just mastered his tactics with high pressing game by cutting the midfield distribution of kroos and brilliantly marked ronaldo with his 2 CB'sand in times 3 defenders where surrounded by him.But for bayern question came from different subject in the form of marcelo first and then asensio

However It could have easily been a different result, had bayern finished well but upfront they where poor whilst madrid was so clinical with both the chances. The equation was plain and simple their if you miss clear cut goal chances in such big games then you are done and that exactly happen to bayern

But i still feel that bayern has a very good chance in this tie. They where without coman and alba yesterday yet they troubled madrid offensively so with both of them in return leg the tie can be turned

Moreover madrid was shaky as hell at home this season and bayern are capable of scoring twice in the Bernabeu. So a very interesting match ahead

Roma late goals give them a decent chance but their defence look like they will concede so can't see them getting through. Once Liverpool stepped up the intensity, Roma had no chance.

Real Madrid didn't even play well. But they took their chances and Bayern missed there chances. Think Bayern need a revamp. Squad has been around for a while and has underachieved in champions league. Can't see them getting through.

All set for Salah versus Ronaldo.

People shouldn't write Bayern Munich off, we saw Real Madrid almost bottle it in 2nd leg against Juventus.

You cant write them off but they are carrying too many old players now while Real have a lot of youth and energy. Bayern will have to come out and attack which will leave a lot of room for the quick Real players to take advantage of. I will be very surprised if Bayern get a draw let alone make it to the final.

BM are playing well but always look vulnerable in defence. This tie could go either way but I'd still back Real to win the game esp since Ronaldo will probably score.

Bayern had the chances to win the tie but Real hangs on.

Liverpool v Real in the final then or can Roma pull off something special?

Tells you how a goalkeeper can make difference, Navas was sensational and on the other side ....

Opening up for Liverpool. Real are a shambles of team and are relying on individual brilliance, or ,more recently individual errors by the oppo.
Liverpool should over run them because they are not going to play with a low block and won't be able to match the energy of Liverpool.

Liverpool have played pretty well here and are now 20 minutes from the final.

What a thrilling match. Roma win 4-2 on the night but Liverpool just go through on aggregate

Liverpool vs Madrid final it is.

Bad refereeing decisions. The Roma penalty was never that at all but they should have had one when Karuis bought down Dzeko who was wrongly given offside. Liverpool should also have been awarded a penalty when the brilliant Mane was bought down as well. Overall over two legs it was a fair result in my opinion with Roma hitting the post yesterday and Lovren in the first leg. It is a heavyweight final with two European giants fighting for the ultimate prize. I am sure Man Utd fans in particular will be burning in jealousy:hasan

Well played by Liverpool to get to the final. I didn't expect them to get this far. Have to give credit to Klopp as well. He sorted the defence out and has got the best out of the players he has.
