United passenger forcibly removed from flight after refusing to give up seat

'Racist' beatings?...this line of argument seems to be pervasive at the moment...which includes the passengers milking of the Vietnam war...if it was a white guy who refused to leave he also would have had force applied...

Come on mate you are living in la la land if you think a middle-aged white guy would have been a) selected for ejection and b) then brutally ejected in this fashion. As for using the words 'force applied' to describe what happened - LOL.

You are reading like a total apologist throughout the thread - given the implied racial element to this corporate crime, that alone should make you a lot more uncomfortable than it clearly is doing at the moment.

What was the race and age profile of the other three people selected to leave the plane?

I think it's been blown out of proportion ...I mean you're even getting the white house comment on it ...

I've seen bouncers handle white people with that level of care ...I've also been forcefully ejected from a club before when refusing ...and I certainly don't think it's racial...or at the very least there is nothing that says its racial ...

Also did you notice the race of the officer?...if the other three people who left are non white then you might be able to speak about the racial element here ...but this guy happened to be Asian as far as we know ...

If he was white he may well have reveieved the exact same treatment ...

You clearly missed my point in the other thread...and it's odd because I actually praised 'coloured' people...

So let's see if this makes more sense to you...in terms of education the worst performing group by a serious margin are WHITE travelers...the top performing groups by some margin are Africans (mainly Nigerian), Chinese and Indians...they outperform British white people easily...

The importance of culture and success is important...and it's always worth looking inwardly at these things...cos you will notice making things all about race is a simplification...

Nigerians arrive here working class, they are black and face the same discrimination that Caribbeans face yet they outdo their Caribbean counterparts in areas such as education, are not involved disproportionately involved in criminality etc...the same parallels can be made when discussing Indians in comparison to Pakistanis and Bangladeshis in the UK...Pakistanis in the US fare much better...

Point is emphasis on education and hard work is more prevalent in some cultures as is integration...what makes white travelers the worst performing group in education, employment etc?...culture is a contributory factor when determining success...

And my point is it's just not productive to wallow in self pity...rather than focusing solely on institutional racism there should be a focus on emphasising success...because many blacks and asians are indeed successful in spite of discrimination etc...providing inspiration and examples is simply more productive...

If you think this is bigoted then so be it...

And you tend to be more "productive" and "get on with" it by making shocking generalizations, all you ever do is call certain communities out and use narrow minded metrics which are based on your stereotypes to determine how succesful they are. Yes that is bigoted, can't cure that disease of the mind. Anwer Pervez alone is worth more then all them folk you like sucking up to combined and he's a businessman, graduate career are not the be and end all James has done quiet well for himself he didn't go uni, and I support other avenues beyond the acamedic path and I say that as a student; it says a lot about your "education" when you tend to spew such nonesense, what did they teach you bro? :yk

James is English as well lmao you are like the only one who is coming out with such idiocity :))) yeah shaykh they were well within their right to beat him to a bloody pulp and after he should have slept on it and left the angelic United Airlines alone :yk2 that way he is "getting on with it" :yk

Academia is but one area...shall we have a look at crime rates too?...

Like I said it's worth looking inwardly...the state is solely responsible for the lack of white traveler success?...

And good...you should bring up positive role models...so better to mention the likes of Sadiq Khan and Anwer Pervez...

Show that Pakistanis can succeed here...like I said...as groups Nigerians for instance have done excellently...well educated, entrepreneurial, lower crime rates...how do you account for that considering they face the same problems Caribbeans do in terms of racism and discrimination?...

Rather than simply using the words 'nonsense'...it might help you to construct a point...

More nonsensical gibberish from shaykh how on earth is crime a metric for success :))) you come across as a racist sympathiser, the only thing you tend to construct is UKIP and KKK rhetoric. What you are is a hater and what you spew is counter productive because you are among the root causes for division and a lack of integration.

Meanwhile the rest of us will build bridges and progress while you can speak on behalf of fallacies and stereotypes. But I've seen more carribeans come to me uni since I started a while back and I've been here a long time there are also initiavives around the country to get them in the Russel Group whilst they also run many succesful businesses and likewise for paks.

I focus on the positives, realise the progress which is being made and contribute to that, you on the other hand can spew hatred because that is "getting on with it".
