Are the Democrats doomed?

Many consider mid terms elections in the US to be the test for trump's policies, has he lived up to the expectations of his base? or will the republicans lose control of congress in November?

A lot is riding on these elections, If Democrats lose it will be a another embarrassment for the main stream media and it would further damage their credibility. Why would someone listen to CNN cry about some civil rights issue when voters are clearly not interested and backing trump and his policies?

Disclosure: I'm not a trump supporter or hater, I just think Democrats are making the same mistake all over again and have not learned a thing from 2016 loss.

The party with a new President usually loses a lot in the midterm elections. I believe the Dems will gain some seats, the question is whether it will be enough to get a majority in the house.

Trump needs to stick to his hardline immigration policy, manna from heaven for his supporters, getting them mobilised and buzzing to vote in mid-terms.
