There were suggestions that Pakistan were deliberately given a used Sydney pitch to aid their spinners/pacers, almost subcontinental conditions, to improve their chances of reaching an India-Pak final. If so, why were we served an absolute patta, playing into the hands of the Eng batsmen, for today's game?

If so, why were we served an absolute patta, playing into the hands of the Eng batsmen, for today's game?

This was also a used pitch. India were simply toothless.
