What a bunch of shameless stinkers.
Deep down in their hearts these cowards in BJP know they have done a lot of wrong in Kashmir. They are trying to cover up their atrocities and guilty consciousness wherever and however they can.

They thought everyone can be bought with Indian money?

But salute to Gibbs for bravely, not only exposing their ugly faces but spitting at them too.

Money can't buy everyone.People still have dignity left.
I m glad Gibbs didn't bow down to their pressure and came and help Kashmir league.

Or may be Gibbs trying to be nice in Pakistan books fully knowing he has no chance to work in IPL.
Any proof other than he himself alleging?

Very sick this from Ganguly thankfully Pakistan developed their own PSl otherwise we would have been completely isolated

You seem to have not been following KPL news from last year. Check threads on it on PP.

Who says sport and politics don't mix.

BCCI strikes again.

In any case Gibbs cant even travel to India
Yes our Pakistani away is bewakoof that's why these videos get released to shift the anger of fans for loosing to Australia to now discuss BCCIs arrogance
If BCCI is arrogant they are justified ; they generate billions of $$ in revenue every year, their administration is honest unlike PCB mafia

So , as responsible Pakistani , I am not going to fall for these cheap tricks

It appears to me that Gibbs has only been picked by KPL to create controversy, play the victim card and blame BCCI. No one knew or heard about KPL and then due to the Gibbs controversy, it got few eye balls...so its a win win situation. Basically the league is trying to stay relevant by constantly dragging BCCIs name and making a gora victim sells perfectly. The funny part is after all these drama, Gibbs didnt play a single game. So its obvious why he is there. :))

Indian govt's official stance on Kashmir is no secret. You create a cricket league with political motivation and give punchline like Azadi...so its obvious Indian govt wont allow anyone to earn a dime from India participating in such league.

And LOL at people saying BCCI mixing politics with sports. The entire KPL is a political propaganda itself...cricket to bahana hai. One has to hear Afridi's statement post KPL final last year. Does it sound like cricket post match presentation from any angle? So all BCCI is saying is, if you want to be a part of that propaganda, good just stay there...dont come here to earn money in India.

Why cant Gibbs earn money from PCB/PSL and why he need to come to India?

The behaviour of India and Indians towards Pakistani cricket is no secret. It is extremely nationalism-driven. When New Zealand and Australia were visiting Pakistan, some Indians were issuing threats to the wives of their cricketers. India as Big 3 was trying to isolate Pakistan.

Their BCCI is so nationalistic/political that they tried to put pressure on Gibbs to not participate in KPL. I bet that they also put pressure on some big players (particularly from Australia) not to participate in PSL , that otherwise they would be barred from IPL. Indians should not mix politics with sports, or at least keep it bare minimum.

So the president and secretary of bcci called up gibbs?

Gibbs must be the most powerful man in world cricket.

Players can play wherever they want. No country should dictate what a player can or can't do.

Cricketjoshilla werent you asking for proof. Well here you go

The Guy himself faced match fixing allegations.Cannot take his words on face value.

So, let me get this right…you think that Herschelle Gibbs would risk losing out on millions in India for something that’s not true? What a plonker😂

The Guy himself faced match fixing allegations.Cannot take his words on face value.

so he did something wrong ages ago, was found guilty, served his punishment and your now saying don take his word cuz he's done something illegal previously.

Wow india is such a educated society

https://www.smh.com.au/sport/cricket/gibbs-fears-arrest-wont-tour-india-20041029-gdk0c6.html

Gibbs 'fears arrest', won't tour India.

That’s an article from 17 years ago.. so kind of confused.. as to why he suddenly felt threatened last year.

Also Gibbs:

On 15 January 2007, it was announced that Gibbs, a Cape Coloured himself, would face a disciplinary panel after making racist comments during the 1st Test against Pakistan. His words had been picked up on the stump microphone saying remarks such as "go back to the zoo"

Guess everyone has an agenda as expected lol

Not to forget that Gibbs himself has played in IPL. Pretty sure all the franchises were throwing money at him during auction without knowing about his match fixing history. :inti

Gibbs is a match fixer. His words should be taken with a pinch of salt.

He has been paid here to create controversy and play the victim card by accusing BCCI. That's cheap market and will give Gibbs some attention as well so he doesn't mind giving this a shot here.

Problem is that Gibbs has spoken against The BCCI - the heavens will now open and swallow him up.

ipl has had two teams banned for fixing and not allegations but proven.

So now what is the standard for trusting someone

Yet another day and yet another Pakistan fan who thinks CSK and RR were banned because they phixed their games. :91:

Some things just never change.

Yes betting against your own team is normal, and spot fixing doesnt have an effect on the result of the match or the creadibility of the match.

Some blind nationalists can never take criticism

They bet againist their own team? Which match? Did they win? Please tell the details.

If spot fixing is a reason to ban teams, well well, we may have to ban test teams. No?

As expected India will stoop down to any level to go with their agenda with Pakistan, just can't seem to stop mixing politics with sports ever.

There are different ranges of the scale where commentators/ex-players can perch themselves on.

Gibbs has decided that he will be on the extreme Michael Holding position. That means he likely won't get an IPL commentary or coaching or mentoring gig ever. But if the PSL/KPL is able to make up for that, more power to him.

In any case Gibbs cant even travel to India

Interesting viewpoint.

Frankly, why do the BCCI cementheads get even involved? by just their involvement they are bringing eyeballs, i mean let Gibbs do what he wants with his game on hai grin, there r other things to indulge in.
There are so many times i wish BCCI would stop throwing its weight around, this is one of those.
I'll bet over 75 percent of indians donot even know about this ...or care

I didn't know much about it. Just googled. It is held in POK, the brand ambassador is Afridi, official singer is Rahat and their slogan is Khelo Azadi Se. Good thing is BCCI didn't stop Gibbs from becoming a part of it.

How did he manage to play in IPL then? Or may be that league needs players like him who can fix matches? :inti

Surely people are free to work wherever they want?

What next? If you play in the PSL you can't play in the IPL.

True. most of cricket loving people in india have some sort of cricket fatigue. Would rather watch international cricket and IPl.
