Looks like a nasty injury for Shehzad, hope he's OK. You never want to see an ambulance on the cricket field.

God willing he recovers and it's nothing too serious

Guys some distressing pics of Shehzad injured so please dont add in this thread.

What happened? Was he struck with the ball or a fielding collision

Good to hear this. Not a pretty sight that collision and its aftermath

لا حول ولاقوة إلا بالله

I thought it was a serious injury but Shehzad is back...

I may get grilled for this, however, the injury never seemed serious to me. Yes, it probably hurt a bit, but the way Shehzad threw his arms out and sprawled on to the ground seemed quite dramatic.

Shehzad needs to let his bat do the talking rather than his mouth :yk

I agree that looked really dramatic :)) but it was worrisome to see him like that.

Agree. He does this over acting. Many a times after falling or fielding he lays down for hours. Just get up and continue.

He clearly faked that injury. He absorbed most of the impact with his arm. Then when he fell, he first grabbed his side and then threw his arms back and laid there as if he was shot. My friend and I are both medical residents, and we were laughing when he pulled off this fiasco.

EXACTLY! It was literally a scene out of a movie...Our young hero finally thwarted after a grueling effort...except the effort part of course.

I have worked with a rugby team in the UK and this certainly did not come across as anything serious . Only possibility I could have thought of would be a minor strain / Whiplash like syndrome

this guy Walton has been engaged already in 3 collisions so far, lets see what he does in next 2 games.

I agree, I thought he got knocked out but then I realised that he never got a knock to the head. I remeber the ball his arm once and the way he went down I thought he had broken it, a minute later he was fine.

Nevertheless, good to see he's okay.

Seemed very angry when he came back. But I don't get why.

:))

At most it looked like he'd suffered from whiplash after watching replays.

But he was very lucky. The knee grazed his arm/back otherwise it was going to bang into the neck/head and that indeed would have led to a serious injury.

He is okay, did not look that serious from where I was sitting. Thinking he just wanted to be centre of attraction.

For those saying he's a drama queen, yes he is, but during that impact, he was clearly hit on his neck and you may get temporarily unconscious since it could've hit you're spine.

same guy who nearly collided with braithwaite, or was it holder and nearly made him drop a catch, calamity waiting to happen

He is a drama queen so wouldn't be surprised if he was making a drama
Glad he is well now
Kamran wanting to injure himself running into the ambulance? Lol

Similar thing happened in 2014 Asia Cup. He couldn't gather the ball fielding and it struck his wrist. The way he yelped, it looked like at best, he has fractured a bone. But he went to the dressing room, had some treatment and was back on the field after 30 mins. Looks like it's more of a psychological or psychosomatic effect of the shock that he feels intense pain or fright soon after any incident.

When I first saw it, it looked like a bad injury and I was very surprised when he came back on the field so quickly.

Interestingly it looked like PCB has not sent its own medical staff on this tour.

I actually thought that he was seriously concussed but he was back before they could ask him about the number of fingers they were holding up.

He is a Proper Actor.

Haven't seen anywhere as good a acting as this on Cricketing Field. It was a piece of Art.

His first Coach has been proven Right once again.
