Interesting video by a guy of Nigerian origin on his experience growing up in Pakistan. Ties into to the whole BLM debate going on.

Cool video. Seemed like he spoke like a pakistani as well.

Pakistanis can be racists, but mire awareness around this topic will help.

Something was messing with my mind when he switches to Urdu.... the way he says "theek hai" :)))

This is a short vid of a black guy from Lyari suggesting that racism does exist ...

Tbf racism can often be a subjective experience ...I was called the ‘n’ word 3 times when I was in Slovakia ...I wasn’t permitted entry to a boat party...and the girls with us said the bouncers said no blacks on the boat ...this all happened over two days ...and I’m not even black...

I know a black guy in London who went to the same city and had an amazing time and spent a couple weeks there ...

So both the experience above and the guy from Lyari are offering an anecdotal picture ...

Be interested to know whether social mobility exists for blacks?, do blacks generally get married to blacks or do they marry non-Afro Pakistanis?

Are the various black groups viewed differently ie foreign Nigerians and Somalis, Sheedis etc

The last few seconds where he switches to halting Punjabi were so familiar to anyone, myself included, who are born to Punjabi parents but spoke Urdu all their lives.

Damn he has a thick pakistani accent I don't know the reason tbh

I've seen a couple of his vids, his Urdu is excellent and also speaks decent Punjabi.

Another perspective from a black Jamaican tourist:

There is a huge african communitee around medina colony in lahore next to gulberg, always wondered what they do there.

In karachi we ve our own indigenous Black community of Sheedis and Makranis. I think they are descendants of ppl who migrated from the horn of Africa centuries ago via the Makran coast.

Even the Makran itself belonged to Oman not too long ago and ppl from Oman are also more African looking than Aaian.

Growing up in khi i remember these Sheedis/Makaranis were found outside cinemas in Saddar area selling tickets and were also known for head butting people, they ve a dispute with. They are also good footballers.

Cool vid

Let's appreciate the positive aspect and learn from the negative points he pointed out..

Wah Munde nu punjabi vee awndi aa?

A moment of embarrassment for those "English medium private school elite" of Punjab who consider their mother tongue inferior.

Urdu bhi bole, aur Punjabi zuban ko bhi

Lekin humara parha likha tabka angreezi aur urdu ki milawat krta hai aur punjab wale, punjabi se door bagte hain...

Urdu bhi is tarah kharab hoti hai aur punjabi bhi
